My EVENING Skincare Routine for Oily Skin - How I use Retinol in my Skincare Routine | Dr Janet

Фильм және анимация

This video is on my simple evening skincare routine for oily acne prone skin and how I use retinol in my skincare routine.
The evenings are the best times to start of your skincare routine for oily skin with double cleansing. This means you go in first with an oil cleanser to get rid of makeup, oils and water proof cosmetics that could clog your pores and cause acne. You then follow up with a water based cleanser. This is very important for those with oily acne prone skin.
Retinol is a very beneficial skincare for oily and acne prone skin. It increases cell turnover and over time unclog the pores, refines the skin texture and prevent premature signs of aging.
This video is basically my simple evening skincare routine for acne, hyperpigmentation. It also shows skincare routine for oily black skin, skincare routines for acne, drugstore evening skincare routine for oily skin and acne.

    Hi! I love this video but I have a question. I have oily, acne prone skin and I'm 12 years old. I bought the CeraVe retinol serum and I was just wondering if I'm too young? I'm using if for acne and to unclog pores. Thanks!

    new subscriber here, i want to introduce the retinal into my routine and i have oily acne prone skin, my current moisturizer is elf super hydrate. was wondering if i should get a thick moisturizer for the night or should continue using elf its more gel like . thanks

  • @DrJanet

    Welcome here, the elf moisturizer would work just fine because the CeraVe retinol serum itself is very moisturizing so just lay it over it and see out it goes. Thanks

    I've started using the retinol for about 3 weeks and the Cerave Acne Foaming Cleanser for a month and I'm still experiencing break outs in areas I normally do. How much longer should I wait to determine if it's purging or actual break outs?

  • @DrJanet

    There’s a question that has been bothering me, aside the face what product do we use for the rest of our body and those with dark feet.

  • @DrJanet

    @DrJanet

    3 жыл бұрын

    For the body you also want to cleanse twice a day, exfoliate and moisturize, for your dark feet you can use a product that will gradually exfoliate the skin to reveal brighter skin. A good one is Amlactin. Follow up with a sunscreen to prevent rebound hyperpigmentation. Cheers
