CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum Review With BEFORE and AFTER Photos | Dr Janet

Фильм және анимация

Welcome or welcome back. Today’s video is a detailed CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum review. It also includes CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum before and after photos so you can see the results of using this retinol serum.
The cerave resurfacing retinol serum is marketed for post acne marks and to reduce the appearance of pores. Its key ingredient is encapsulated retinol. Retinol is a wonderful skincare ingredient in the treatment of acne, post acne scars, smoothing skin texture, unclogging pores and inducing collagen.
In this video, you will learn how to use the cerave resurfacing retinol serum, how to apply the cerave resurfacing retinol serum serum and if you are wondering how does the cerave resurfacing retinol serum work then you will find your answers here because I also included my Cerave resurfacing retinol serum before and after photos.

    First review I’ve seen that gave a good timeframe for when this product will start to show improvement! I’ve been using this for 5 weeks and all the videos said they saw results in 2-3, but good to know that it took time to work for you too.

    Good morning, I’ve been using the same cerave resurfacing retinol for about a week now. I know that irritation like dry skin and redness are expected during the first few weeks. However I also noticed that in the few days I’ve been using it, it made a few of my hyperpigmentation worse. Did this happen to you as well, is this apart of the process ?

    Hi! I was about to purchase this exact product, what do you think of the fact that it has dimethicone as third ingredient? Retinol is really far from the first ingredients...

  • @DrJanet

    @DrJanet

    3 жыл бұрын

    Dimethicone is very controversial in skincare. It is a skin conditioner and seals in moisture so people worry that it could clog pores but this is not backed by scientific research. Dimethicone like all skincare ingredients can cause irritation but it’s not a known skin irritant. But if you have reservations you could skip the product. Cos skincare is personalized, if you don’t feel comfortable with the ingredient list it’s fine to not use it. Yes Retinol is not high up in the list but the blend of ingredients is something to consider. Thanks

    I've been using this serum for 4 months now and I'm seeing important in skin texture and my skin is brighter. I'm hoping to continue to see results. I've been using it everyday for the last 2 months and that's when I've seen the most important, but I only use about a pea size amount because I have fair sensitive skin. When using retinol, Do you always have to go up in strength? Or if the low percent seems to work to just stick with it long term 🤷 I'm going to be 40years old

    Good to know you have also seen good results with this serum. Since u have sensitive skin you should be fine with sticking with what works for you. For people who are looking for more significant anti-aging benefits tretinoin still gives better results. But it definitely isn’t an ingredient for everyone. You would still see very good results with retinol but at a much slower pace. Thanks

    Yes you can. That was the same cleanser I used in the beginning now I go between that and the foaming cleanser and its fine with the niacinamide + Zinc.

    Sometimes using at retinol will do that it's called the purge stage you have to give it a good couple of months 😊

    @@jennifers_beauty_boutique9788 if you are getting this after more than a couple of weeks, it's not a "purge", it's a reaction and you should stop and switch to a milder product and use less frequently.
