@Dr. Vanita Rattan could you please do a review on CeraVe Hydrating Toner? I checked all of your CeraVe product reviews but Hydrating toner isn't included in any of them. This product isn't exactly exfoliating but at the same time it claims to remove leftover residue from face. This really interests me cz for sensitive and combination(colored) skin like mine, the residue left after cleansing is the cause for blackheads and whiteheads but at the same time using a toner from the EXFOLIATING range might also turn out to be irritating to the sensitive component of my skin. Thus, this product seems like a perfect fit but I am intrigued on how exactly does it work?

Please do not take this as a complaint at all, because I love all these videos and enjoy the frequency of content! I binge watch almost every night! But I wanted to ask if it’s possible to add time stamps on the videos like when it changes products or sections? Obviously not if this adds more time to editing and will delay videos, but I only ask bc sometimes I rewatch them and it would be easier to get to a certain part. If not, I understand! Thanks for all you do, I love your channel ❤️

I'm currently using the tinted sunscreen. In my opinion - the "tint" doesn't stop it from looking white when you first begin applying it to the face. So it doesn't go on sheer (even with the tint) and takes some effort to rub in. But it is easy to rub in, so it doesn't leave a white caste if you're intentionally about rubbing it in

I’ve been using Cerave’s tinted mineral sunscreen spf 30 on most days since I spend majority of my time indoors, and reapply about every 3 hours. I have a tan/medium skin tone, and this works great on my skin with no white or grey cast. I use a generous amount, and it takes about 10 minutes to settle in. Initially when you apply it, it may seem oily, but once it sets it is light and hydrating! Of course when I have outdoor plans I use spf 50.

This makes so much sense. My skin is so sensitive. I was excited to try CeraVe. For the first few days, I loved it. So I went out and bought more of their products. After about 5 days, my skin started to sting when I'd put it on. Then it started to burn. By day 8, my skin was covered in what appeared to be contact dermatitis. I stopped using their products and waited until my skin was healed, then I tried again. I chose just 1 of their products and used it on half of my face. The dermatitis was back. I repeated the same test with the other products 1 at a time over a 3 week period. All 4 products do it. It must be that 1 ingredient that they use in all of their products. I can't figure out which one it is though.

  • @Champion_Trainer

    3 жыл бұрын

Dr. Dray has a video on this. It's not only sunscreen. Benzene is also present in some after sun care products (some aloe vera products, etc.). It was a contamination issue in factories. Benzene is NOT suppose to be in any of those products. They are trying to fix it. Dr. Dray has a link to a list of the products that contain Benzene and a list of the products that do not, in her description box under that video she made.

Dr. V. I have probably missed you seeing this as you are only in the comments for one hour after uploading the video but I have tried the Cerave hydrating mineral SPF 50 and I have to say that it not only does it leave a 'white cast' but it is an extremely thick white cast! I have tried wearing this just indoors, whilst on the laptop but I don't think I can even do that as it looks ridiculous and feels thick and cakey. I do not think anyone with skin of colour could wear this and I think even others would be left with a 'white cast' as it is so thick! It just does not rub in. I cannot wait for your sunscreen to be released. I have tried most mineral sunscreens but they all feel awful and I am beginning to think that I am allergic to something in them (I use fragrance free ones if I can find them to try) and they all make my face burn and make me want to itch them off!
