Thank you so much. Over the years I have had many allergic reactions to expensive facials and treatments for my acne scaring caused by adult acne. No one including my gp, hospital specialists (following allergy test) couldn’t pin point why I get flare ups of severe hives. I now know it’s alcohols and fragrance. Thank you for helping me understand my skin. You are amazing, I appreciate you.

Dr.V yes please! Would love your skin care line for adult acne, pigmentation and aging concerns for skin of colour. It's hard to cater to all 3 with so many brands and products out there that aren't really made for skin of colour. So it'll be great if you can cater to our needs!

If covid-19 allows it I think it would be great for you to host Master classes and workshops because I love the education you deliver! I would love an anti- pigmentation, anti-aging for sensitive skin of color. I would most definitely buy it. It would take out all the guess work and all the fear of actually damaging your skin in trying to help it. I have spent thousands of dollars on products and procedures with only temporary success…. The melasma seems to come back worst each time.

I hope you make a water resistant sunscreen soon! I work outside and really need a sunscreen like yours to help my melasma and my PIH from hormonal acne. All the ones I’ve tried (that don’t break me out or leave me with a burn/tan) leave a horrible white cast. I’ve tried so many and wasted so much money! Hi Naima. Yes you can use them together. How you layer them depends on the consistency of the formula. Watch her videos on layering for hyperpigmentation. She talks about this ingredients and how to layer them. She used The Ordinary products as an example.

Hi dr V thank you soo much for all your genuine advise. Can you please tell me if I can use paulas choice super antioxidant concentrated serum, paulas choice 0.3 retinol with the ordinary niacinamide as night time routine for slightly pigmented and skin in 30’s? Between Retinol, azelaic and Tranexamic acid which one is more effective to clear acne dark and brown scars, I want to try Retinol for anti ageing purposes, at the moment I have tranexamic and azelaic acid on my PM routine but I use them separately on different days. Your advice will be much appreciated 🙏🏾🥰

My acne isn't reducing. I have consulted 2 doctors so far but nothing worked. I still wake up with a new pimple on my face daily and the worst part is they are often large and inflamed. Initially, I was prescribed Ahaglow S foaming face wash, Hymos lotion, and Azelaic acid 20%. The latter prescribed me Deriva-CMS and Doxt-SL capsules course for 2 weeks. I have a clean diet, a healthy lifestyle, and maintain hygiene but nothing is working and I'm worried about both acne and scars.

I often struggle with knowing what to use because I need treatments for all 3 areas you often refer to: anti-aging, hyperpigmentation and oily, acne prone skin. I am 35, and realising the products I have been told to spend lots of $$ on have been kind of not super great or actives aren't high up on the INCI list. Also, let me know if there is a way to do a virtual consult with you!
