    Hey Melissa, thank hou for your video. I am just getting into Retinols and bought thjs exact one from TO. If I also have the Paula's Skin BHA and AHA and I also use Azelaic Acid and Niacinamide, how would I use Retionol in my routine please? For example, would I use the PC BHA on Monday and then Retinol on Tuesday & Wednesday and then my PV AHA on Thursday etc? xx

    Hey! :) That's correct! Avoid using them in the same routine (except for Niacinamide; that one can be used with any of the treatments you have). So, either use one in the morning and the other in the evening, or use them on different evenings. See here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c5Z117Npn5y_Z7A.htmlsi=olHGlIK_MfBaRDJm

  • @MelissaVanDijkOfficial

    @MelissaVanDijkOfficial

    24 күн бұрын

    You can use Retinol or a Peptide Serum or Cream for your crow's feet. However, with Retinol, the strength and formulation matter. While The Ordinary's Retinol 0.2% may not be an issue for you, it could be drying or irritating for some people. In that case, it's best to opt for a Retinol Eye Serum or Cream, as they are usually much gentler for such a thin and potentially sensitive area.

    I would recommend using Differin Gel or Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream, especially for your concerns! However, when it comes to blackheads, it's truly best to see an esthetician and get them extracted. Topical products have a hard time addressing them, and I believe it's nearly impossible to treat deeply embedded ones with over-the-counter solutions.

    It could be the squalane causing issues. I've also experienced problems with it, especially in leave-on serum formulations. You might want to consider switching to a lighter formulation, like the Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream at 0.1%. It's almost gel-like and absorbs quickly.

    @@godwinvlogs4553 In that case, I recommend using a light gel or lotion Retinol formulation, as Retinol Serums are typically formulated in an oil, which can be too rich for oilier skin types.
