My Emotional Return To The Maison Valentino Runway During Paris Fashion Week
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
See how the Maison Valentino show during PFW came to life and witness up close, Pierpaolo’s creative genius and his beautiful creations. Closing this show for the legendary Valentino house after 14 years, with the most unbelievably diverse cast, was an experience and an honor I will cherish forever.

In an era of insta-models, it's so good to see Naomi enter into the social media space to show other models the appropriate amount of reverence to the designers and the art of fashion. I love this channel so much!

First of all, there is no stereotypical black women, just the lies that are colored to give us a sense of disdain for one another. As for Naomi, she is a revolutionary woman, and she has stood the test of the time. She is the only supermodel of her time that is still standing. But there is an air of bitch inside of her.

The minute Naomi walked down that runway everyone and I mean everyone lifted up their phones to record her. The whole room lit up. People definitely had their cameras up before she came but as soon as she walked out everyone without hesitation gave her their outmost attention.

Pierpaolo keep telling Naomi "Thank you" it's very touching and wonderful at the same time.Naomi has been able to do her job during all these years, I think that her best reward is not money or privilege but the inspiration she brings in the fashion sector as a black woman I suppose that her it was not always easy for her. Suddenly she is always there to continue to motivate the new generations I do not think that people realize that she point this woman is extraordinary! Respect dear Naomi!!!!!
If Naomi was actually the way media tried to portray her she wouldn't have worked with such big names for such a long time and made such long lasting relationships with such talented people. Naomi respects grace, talent and courage. This woman wants people to be respected for what they have done for the industry. She treats her colleagues and everyone else with respect. You can't do all this unless you are a good person. Being a black supermodel at that time is something not everyone could have done

I love that Naomi worries about doing well enough for the designers. It is so obvious that she has real feelings for the designers, that she cares that their hard work is showcased just so. She is nervous after all this time, but once she is on the runway it seemingly goes up in smoke, and there she is walking in these creations like a gazelle.
I believe this is one of the most iconic things I've ever watched and cried just to see her stamp history with her mark. Shes revolutionised the modelling industry across the board and also advocated for women of colour and the artist in her shows homage to the designer who truly is a man of art. The genius and honesty love of fashion in him showcased all the hues of art inclusive of every beautiful woman that walked that runway. This was breathtakingly special

The collection would be out of this world because he'd still using Naomi as his mews
As soon as Pierpaolo said "If not because of you & Iman this would never be happing." I lost it and started crying and once Céline Dion started crying I seriously lost it. Then seeing Naomi cry on top of it all! UGH! Pierpaolo is SUCH a fantastic job not only with the collection and the set up, the music, the hair, & makeup but with such a diverse cast of models. It was so beautiful to see all the models at the end of the show.

Those Sudanese women are just something special. I hope that Sudanese men will continue to make these beautiful rich chocolaty chocolate baby girls. In America we don't get see hardly any of these drop-dead gorgeous deep chocolate skin tones. Shout out to Sudanese fathers who helped make these beauty-beautiful baby dolls. You all do good work.
I look up to you Naomi. You are a muse, brilliant, brave, sophisticated, altruistic and fiercefull. Your work will trascend generations. What a legacy and history you have made. I wish nothing but more success to your career, cause you are already successfull. 💓

Dang! This had me weeping. I cannot imagine what she’s had to put up with so others don’t have to put up with SOME of the foolishness. Pierpaolo is welcome to any family cookout. #AllBlackEverthing.

@Me Too she came up as a dark skin model in the late eighties/early nineties, where models who looked like her were few and far between. you cannot imagine the discrimination she faced as a young woman?
There are so many beautiful and heartwarming moments to dissect. All of which I will condense to say that I admire Naomi for her love and respect for the designers, her rapport with other models, and just what she stands for in the industry. Also, I’m loving her curls, it looks so lovely on her! What a meaningful event, thank you for sharing it
This was so incredibly beautiful, thank you for sharing it with me and the world. It brought tears to my eyes, the beauty, the memories, the commentary about the history of ethnicity in the world of art and fashion. Thank you.

This made me cry, especially the part at the beginning in the studio where Pierpaolo showed her the 'surprise' image boards that placed Naomi--and Black women--at the centre of...everything. I keep watching the little moment starting at 1:57. Naomi wears that dress in a way that every designer must wish their work would be worn. Like a second skin. Like she was born wearing it. She is the best the best the best runway artist there's ever been. So glad you are continuing to model, Naomi, continuing to share your thoughts & experiences as you get older. The world needs to hear from women as we age. This video was just so beautiful--I'm crying again--thankyou so much for sharing it with us.
That was the most stunning beautiful display of love clothes emotion I have ever seen from a runway the build up of Naomi Campbell walking out was more than I could take i cried I cried I was amazed blown away and entertained
She’s outlasted them all. Naomi is FASHION.
