I remember seeing three Outspan orange cars stored off Berkhamsted High Street in the late 80s/90s, I always thought they were the coolest thing ever.

just saw this and now i have to go back and watch it from the beginning, you cant help but smile seeing this drive around town. i wish you tube would have popped this up sooner, edd was the best part of wheeler dealers

I want to see the MOT guys inspect this after they get done with the Range Rover. LOL

I was glued to this video. When I took mechanic school the wheel alignment was a separate course and I opted not to take it as it was all done with lasers and electronics, not every garage would have such an elaborate system. So when I can learn something new it is always appreciated. Thanks Edd!

I worked for a U.S. company that had a wheel alignment system product. Despite being a physics and maths major, I still was intimidated by the geometry stuff. Edd made it all so (comparatively) simple here - thanks, Edd!

It’s a shame you didn’t do this years ago, but WD got you known, and KZread got you doing what you do best but on your terms for your fans. It’s amazing how well you’ve done with this channel in such a short time, and it’s working well Edd. I’m a home gamer with my motorbikes and it’s your inspiration that helps me do the things I do. Massive thanks, keep up the good work.

I’ve only recently discovered this channel but I’m hooked! As has been said, the main reason for watching wheeler dealers wasn’t to listen to Mike bellowing.. ‘owld aaaht yur aaaand’ It was for the sheer education and entertainment of Edd doing his thing. Fantastic, especially enjoyed this one as I have a classic Mini which one day I will get back on the road. 👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

It must be the Brit in me that really appreciates the tea break and a chin wag segment halfway through the video.

Great to see Edd using the old tools and not all this electronic BS , Rock on Edd.

I love all the simple alignment tools a home garage, and a few helpful hints from Edd! I used to work on everything mostly body and frame work. 20 + years until a car accident rear ended me causing multiple fractures in my spine. That ended my business and career. There is something addictive about watching you put together,fix,repair or restore a vehicle. Your skills and knowledge are absolutely brilliant. Thank you for sharing. WD's lost the star of the show but we gained you and your videos.

It is amazing how Mr. China solves mechanical issues that should throw back into the litter all those cars. You give new life to these oldies and that's fantastic! Good job, Mr China!

The gusset is actually part of a bracket. That, the CAD and the angle grinder warms the cockles of Bad Obsession Motorsport's heart!

I have never been so eager to see a list of problems that needs to get done for an MOT!!! COME ON!!! Lets see it!!!!!

Once again Edd you've knocked it out of the park with your channel.

Fridays are always better after a relaxing spot of Edd China, I only wish the videos were longer, much longer. Far, far better than what's on TV these days.

Hi Edd, I never watched WD because of one short, plump object...and it wasn't your Outspan Orange! But seeing you dissect each segment of this citrus beauty with zest, shows me that you certainly know your stuff. The future is bright for this little resplendent orb.

Edd, your doing an amazing job. Please keep this show going.I have learned alot by watching you over the years. I do love that you respond to questions and help your followers. Love the update to the people you have helped. As a true car guy I think you have nailed what we are all looking for. As for the production team and backers, please for the love of God listen to this man for how the show should go. We don't want 15mins of a 30min episode about buying and selling and walking around. If anything throw those numbers up at the end. Or just show the amount of money we save doing it ourself with the knowledge edd just taught us. The stroll around town and seeing the joy Edd gets from cars and the joy people get from it is amazing.

Ed, thank you for taking us through a great learning demonstration on wheel alignment, I learnt more about this with practical demonstration than from anyone who has tried to explain it to me in the past. Great to see the Orange behaving properly and looks a lot of fun for you and spectators 😊 , just make sure you don’t run out of juice!!!

It's surprising that a little damage to a tie rod can affect straight line handling of steering. Great job Edd

Excellent workmanship as per usual, Ed... we couldn't expect anything less from yourself! Please fit 10" wheels to the front as the 12s make it look super stumpy! On another note, I'm building a 19,480 mile 1974 Vauxhall Viva HC 2 door. It's fitted with a Sierra RS Cosworth YB turbo engine and T5 gearbox (which will be wet linered to cope with the projected 520hp!). The rear axle is a Mk5 Cortina estate atlas towing pack unit narrowed with a ZF LSD and Quaife En30b half shafts. I still have a long way to go before it's finished!! Keep up the good work! Cheers. This little orange is a great example of how to work on suspension set up. Everything is so visible and pretty basic. Great content as always!

Some proper graft and engineering there Edd - and true delight on your face when it all comes together. Keep going Edd, the best yet.

Love the videos. I remember seeing that Orange Mini in a magazine, long time ago. Great to see it again. Here in Canada my father had a shop and worked on VW and British Leland products. I can still smell the inside of those old cars. Keep the videos coming.

Unless they are putting a seat for edd on the roof then it will be a no as edd barely fits in a range rover let alone a classic mini.

That orange is absolutely adorable when it's moving.

Another cracking episode, really explained the mystery of toe, caster and camber. Great work Ed and team. Also super job Howard and son!

Every time I see the Outspan car I'm reminded of the space pod in 2001. It would just need to be white and have a pair of mechanical claw-arms.

So happy to see the Orange back on the road and driving safely! Seeing it dart across the roads was just hilarous. Just one thing occured to me: I've learned it is best practice to put the bolt for the tie rod in from above, not from below (which is of course easier to get in). This prevents it falling out in case the nut comes loose, which would lead to a complete loss of control. That is of course unlikely because of the nyloc nuts used today, but I think still an important point. Greetings from Germany, Timo

I really loved the times you sorted out the geometry on WD, unfortunately I couldn't pause, rewind or come back to the episode for use as a guide. This series is a great source of information, I must admit I was a bit wary at first, wondering whether it could be the same without Brewer's door cards but please keep these videos coming. I've been watching from the 8th November from ECWD Ep.1 and I have reached Ep. 23, great work! Thanks mate.

It is awesome to watch these videos that meet broadcast quality (picture, audio) with a small team and less resources. Congrats. I like how this show mixes from pretty sophisticated tools and ways to work (3d scanning a whole ass transmission to make a coupler for an electric motor) with episodes filled with almost rudimentary thingymabobs (caster and camber measurement, CAD)

Great episode as usual. The Outspan Orange test drive was delightful. Since living abroad I have forgotten how quaint the English countryside looks.

Love the new shots on these videos. The Quality and Transitions are Amazing.

Another cracking video from Edd with lots of hammer action. Just like the best days of WD but even better. Great shout out to the lads at Project Binky!

My fried had a Darlek based on a mini chassis. You would approach one of the major golf ball manufacturers. I’m sure Titelist or Callaway would die for something like this to be part of the PGA or European Tour travelling circus

Ever since i was a kid when i first saw edd on telly back in 03 i always admired his welding skills. Its needless to say im absolutely crap at it still 😆. It was so satisfying seeing that rod mount being welded back together 👌
