Hi, I’m Edd. Welcome to my workshop. I love exploring things, fixing things and making things.
“Edd China is the quintessential British eccentric; TV presenter, inventor, engineering product designer and Wheeler Dealers’ favourite mechanic.
Fixing things, Engineering Product Design, innovation and mechanical engineering are what make him tick. Always keen to connect things that aren't normally connected, he created the World's first street legal driving sofa in 1998; the ‘Casual Lofa’, which got him his first Guinness World Record for “Fastest Furniture” at 87mph!
Since then he’s gone on to set many other records, most recently; World's Fastest Electric Ice Cream Van revolutionising the industry by developing the World's first all electric ice cream van.”

Did you ever get to the bottom of the Range rover starting problem Edd?. We have the same problem with ours and have spent nearly £4k with landrover so far and they still haven't fixed the fault.
It does not help that Mike is a car dealer in my opinion pratt
Nothing worse than a 'dirty ring'😢 😂😂
Edd that is sad to hear as I used to watch this show because of you and your car fir the cars you worked on.
When Brewer went to Overhaulin and met Chip Foose, Chips assessment of Brewer was dead accurate.
Why so fast
I would say (as a coded welder / been in the car trade since 1982 as a fabricator welder) that brazing at 450c is the lowest end of the spectrum, bronze welding / silver solder (non cad) or "silver brazing" use temps from 750 to near 1000 degrees C and the "not as strong" thing is entirely dependant on joint design / prep and the skill of the operator. Mig is particularly easy to get horribly wrong in many ways as you know / probably have seen yourself in your job. There is a reason say alloy steels (T45 etc.) are brazed / bronze welded in both cycle and especially motor cycle frames to as give a different effect when subjected to stress and accidents. Since the 90's for example I have TIG welded F1 suspension from 4130, it is then heat treated and double tempered, but in a shunt will shear wheras brazed structures often distort badly but stay in one piece. Loved the shows Ed and enjoyed loads of your hand work (Saab was good) and this is generally a good vid that is clear for folks, trust me there are horrors out there, and everyone and his dog are doing videos of all sorts, some very iffy. As someone who's job for decades was fixing the carnage, even on stuff like original genuine Cobras and Astons / all sorts I do tend to be wary when folks say "I can weld"
Way cheaper to send to the crusher
I guess that this show will have the future of TOP GEAR.....
Ospho works too So does “Klean Strip brand Concrete metal Prep” for less than half the cost Regular vinegar will work too but take a lot longer but be WAY cheaper
Because you're boring 🤣
I don't want to even count how many people have said this but ied was the only reason I watched Wheeler dealers and I never watched it after he left😮
Edd has not only, alas, left Wheeler Dealers but he also seems to have left the earth.....
Edd fixes were the reason I kept watching the show. I always thought Mike came across as a wrong un. 😂
Brewer's still a good watch to be fair. He's got the charisma whatever you say about him. So I think the show still worked reasonably well without EC because of Brewer's personality. Unlike Top Gear, which was dead in the water once they ditched Clarkson, especially when May and Hammond followed him up the Amazon.
It's like Top Gear all over again....some folks can't be replaced. Good luck to you on your new endeavors, I'll happily come along for the ride!
I applaud you, cutting corners is not option, don't lower your standards for the bean counters
Greetings from a fan in denmark! Edd you where absolutly epic in the show! 😊😊😊 Helping us non mecanics to get a better understanding! Your calm approach and great knowledge! Will always have a true fanbase! Thank you so much for your big effort! And all the best on your future projects! I will tag along! ❤💪👍
Looking forward to those videos
Better have a pair of binoculars or better yet a telescope ready as you need to look very far.
🎉🎉🎉🎉 ahahahah incredibile,multi Edd scintillante ...👍👍👍👍
The sad thing is that they now concentrate on the technical repair side of the show. Best of luck Edd.
Don’t watch the show when Levi’s is in it or American cars
What happens to the...... RUST...... on the internal, sections of the chassis.........???
Typical Americans. Buy a good business and think they can do it better and cheaper.
Hi Edd, so sad …😢
Damn. Now I want a Scotch Egg, or two or three, for dinner. Along with some baked beans and chips (French Fries to the uneducated) of course. And a pint of Theakstons Old Peculiar. Oh, to be in England now my tummy's rumbling.
Fantastic Edd and the Lost rust range Rover , incredibile ...it's start ... It's a miracle🎉🎉🎉... Wow this video with 4x4 Is fantastic Edd N1
I hope Englands remanufactured parts are better than ours in the USA. We have a 50/50 chance of the reman part working after a few days of the install.
First class, excellent video. Well done.
I wont be watching it . The Yanks will £@ck it up 😢
Acid dip then send it to be galvanized, job done
I missed this the first time ,Thank You for the video like them
quit watching when Ed quit. Not same show.
Surely some of the answer lies with "VELOCITY" who wanted to Americanise the programme. Just like the media mobs who are now running F1 and Motogp
Kanalı yeni keşfettim dmaxden geliyorum baya güzel kanal. Ayrıca altyazıyı kim yapıyor garip duruyor yanlışlık var gibi düzeltilirse hoş olur.
Hope you are going to pump it full of cavity wax when its done?
Edd is KING
After Edd left I pretty much stopped watching that show , he was the only reason one watched that show
Because mike's a flog
Shame the other bloke was ever involved!
Jamais regardé un seul épisode. 😮
Hi Edd, having the same issues. Do you have a part number for those cables and control dial module for the T5. Thank you
Why not drop cinderblocks in to add weight so that the liquid rises over top of chasis, or weights or other car parts that you need derusted.?
This is interesting.
I'm glad you used the coper lines. That's a permanent fix because the car will rust away long before the line breaks again. Glad you didn't stop after Wheeler Dealers days. Wold be awesome for the old crew to get back together and make a car running again for fun. You are a great mechanic Edd
Is this important ? Do I need to know ? Does it affect my life ? No.
Great having You back, Edd!
Never watched it anymore since Edd left
What would you expect the mastermind behind the world's fastest toilet would use to illustrate rust removal? Well, croissants and scotch eggs, of course, what else ?😁😁
