My family and I had the honor and privilege of meeting Mr.Power when I was just a young girl. He was filming KingG OF the Cyber Rifle in Lone Pine California (the Alabama hills). I remember coming home after school and he was standing in my moms kitchen. I thought he was the most handsome man I had ever seen. He frequented our home several times. Mr. Power was one of the nicest. ,gentlest. People I ever met. His passing saddened our family very much. He truly was a film idol. And a beautiful person.

I've never seen an actor more handsome or more luminous than Tyrone Power. It is so sad that he died so young. Thank you, children of Tyrone Power, for posting this video. I recently enjoyed seeing The Razor's Edge and also I'll Never Forget You. I saw The Black Rose on television when I was a little girl and I've been a fan ever since.

My father passed away at 90 2 years ago . My father told me Tyrone Power visited Aberdeen Scotland and my father recognised him whilst he was touring the old part of Aberdeen my dad said Tyrone was surprised he recognised him . He said to my dad your daughter is beautiful and he even gave my sister money . That was during the late 50s. A very generous man indeed.

In 1961, three years after his death and when I was just 13 years old, I discovered Tyrone Power, by way of his movies being shown on TV. It was love at first site. When my mother would bring home the newest copy of TV Guide I would search through it to find any of his movies. If some were being shown on a channel we couldn't get (no cable back then), I would cry. I really had a bad teen-age crush on him. In my opinion he was the handsomest man to ever grace a Hollywood sound stage. I still miss him. I'm so grateful for cable, DVDs and old movie channels.

Witness for the Prosecution is another one of my all time favorites. My mother told me that she always thought it was funny that I love him so much because apparently my godfather was always told he had Tyrone Power eyes, then lo and behold, I grow up totally enamored by this amazingly handsome and wonderful actor! But , I still have that very warm love for him now when I rewatch his movies and watch all the documentaries shown. He was as everyone says a great actor and from the documentaries a greater personality. .He served his country ,the public, society with a exemplary naturalness that is praise worthy and should be imitated by more Hollywood actors today. I hope and believe his son is going to be another influence hopefully emulating his father.God Bless all the Power family every generation.

I have loved and admired Tyrone Power ever since I first saw him on our small black and white tv when I was aged about 7... how lucky to know you have his blood line coursing through your veins , and know a part of him lives on in you. He was the most handsome man I have ever seen, and his acting was honed to,perfection in every part he played . He seemed to give 150% of himself in each part. I’m sad that he died so young and you didn’t get to know your father to build long lasting memories of. But luckily you can still watch him whenever you wish, which we who admire from afar cannot do with our own fathers. A shame he never wrote more about himself in his papers, but thank you God for giving us such a shining star, who continues to burn brightly for us now and those who will be able to watch and enjoy his work in the future.

Thank you so much for bringing back to life one of the biggest stars of Hollywood's Golden Age - in the words of his three children. His legacy, and that of his long family history in entertainment, is showcased so thoroughly well by Romina, Taryn and Tyrone, Jr. All three children share what memories they had before and after their father's early death in 1958, with posthumous memories filled in by his friends, former wife and the same films we are still privileged to see. Most importantly, they shared something not often known about Tyrone Power - his humanity and generosity as a human being. With a distinguished military career in the US Marines during the Second World War, his modesty went hand-in-hand with his duty. Having sat by his signed photo many times over the decades whilst having lunch or dinner at the Cliff House in San Francisco, we now know much more about what was behind that picture, quite fittingly located above Alice Faye's. Many thanks for sharing such a lovely, poignant tribute. Romina, Taryn and Tyrone, Jr. are all the richer for having him as a father, along with the mother who raised them for the bulk of their childhood and are the perfect ambassadors to carry the Power dynasty forward.

Vivian Martinez . He was a great actor and evolved as he matured. His most challenging role was probably Nightmare alley. Actors like him aren't perfect, but who is! To be universally acclaimed, adored, fawned on etc. is an avalanche on your psyche. So give the man credit for having managed to stay as normal as one can be in a world gone mad. God rest his good soul.

Thank you so much! Tyrone Power is one of the people I'm grateful for. Watching his films I could never separate the man from the actor. He served both with humility, honesty and lots of love. Everything he did on the screen, on the stage, in his personal life, he did from the guts, and people realize that today more than ever. Very few people go through life having achieved so much and having given so much. He adorns heaven beautifully as he did this life. May his soul rest in peace for ever. I have a list of people that I pray for everyday. I just take my prayer rope and start with the Jesus prayer. Tyrone Power is right on top of that list and I feel that it is the least I can do for him. It's my way to say thank you for all the things he has offered to me and continues to offer through his films. I think praying like this is the best gift we can give to the ones we love whether they are alive or deceased. So, Tyrone this is my gift to you, you're always in my prayers. God bless us all

What a wonderful tribute to your precious father Tyrone Power. I discovered your dear father several years ago through the film "Marie Antoinette" and fell in love with him. Since then I have seen all of his films several times over and share them with family and friends. I only wish he could have been on this earth longer for you all of his children and for all the many projects he had yet to share with the world. I am thankful for all the wonderful films he left behind. I agree he was so very fine in all his films but especially in "Jesse James." I also want to thank him for his sacrifice during WWII. He was truely part of the greatest generation. He will never ever be forgotten.
