Why are you embarrassed? You shouldn’t be embarrassed about how you feel about another person. It’s a perfectly natural occurrence and all we can really do about it is own our feelings, let the person you’re interested know you like them, and if the feelings are not reciprocated then accept it and move on. How one other singular person may feel about you does not equate to your own personal self worth. Just because one guy doesn’t reciprocate your feelings does not mean that no guy will. The fact that he knows and he has responded means that you’ve done yourself a favor. You now how the freedom to move on and use your brain waves to think about more important things, like your future goals and aspirations :) I know things like this feel like the end of the world in the moment but just take the time to work through the sadness, surround yourself with your close friends and family, and try to move on following the steps in the video. You will see soon enough that time heals everything. Good luck 💛

If anyone wants to listen here’s my story. I get how I’m still really young for this but as mentioned in the video you can still have feelings at a younger age, and for me that’s the case. When I was in grade one I met this boy and I otomatocly had a HUGE crush on him, and not only for his looks but with his charisma and personality that is really hard to find. He felt the same way about me. But, a couple weeks later a new girl moved into my class. He started to like her… but he still likes me a fair bit, but not as much as he used to. For the next five years or so I still felt the same way. It started to get really serious and I knew I loved him at that point. I COULD’NT stop thinking about him. I’m pretty sure he lost feelings for me about 2 years after the 1st grade but I blocked the fact in my mind that he didn’t feel the same way. Just recently he started to stare at me a lot, talk to me more, and follow me around. But then after a week or so he sort of stopped. The girl who came in 1st grade, actually turned into one of my best friends but she’s had moved a few monthes before. And I found out he still had some feelings for her. Then apparently he didn’t, it confused me a lot. I have faced the fact that he probably doesn’t like me, and if he doesn’t like me for the person I am today, that’s his loss. I’ve tried to move on and this video helped a bunch. Falling in love at a young age is magical. But in my case it hurt me ALOT. But on the contrary, it taught me a valuable lesson for my life to come. I haven’t spoken to many people about this. Hope you all have a spectacular day, and thank-you for this video! Yesterday I told a friend (who I'm not too close with) I liked her. She rejected me in the kindest way possible and honestly, it was the chillest confession ever. Already making me feel better since I can remember the time of having to struggle after curshing way too hard on someone before being rejected. This time around I just adressed it early on about how I could see us going towards something and asked if we're on the same page and found out that he just wants to have a friendship + kinda thing. So now I's more of a "oh well that really sucks" kinda feeling but it'll be alright. Glad I cleared the sir before getting more into my head and can now focus on meeting someone who wants the same thing.

Tough This video was really helpful, I’m still really sad. I know my crush doesn’t like me back because of my looks, I never told him beacause I already know what would happen if I did and please don’t tell me something like oh no ur just being pessimistic, I bet ur beautiful because I’m not: it’s not that I’m not happy with my body in general, it’s the face that looks horrible with a giant wide nose, small eyes and average lips. Nobody has ever found me attractive and never will. Eh okay yeah I feel you. All I’ll say is this: whatever features are considered beautiful are solely based off on what our society thinks is beautiful. And what are society thinks is beautiful is heavily influenced by what media and advertising corporations want us to think is beautiful. That being said, let’s take my nose for example. Its not cookie cutter, it’s not small, it’s not “ideal”. But when I wake up in the morning I look at myself and I think “damn, I look goooooood”. I used to think a lot like you when I was younger, but at 24, I cherish what makes me different so much. I’ll also say that I don’t like the way you look at yourself. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you look in the mirror and call yourself horrible and average, how are other people suppose to see you differently? Like I said, I was a lot like you before. I hated things about my face so much that I dreamed of correcting it. But then something in me changed. As I progressed in life and completely focused on my life, career goals, and dreams, I stopped tearing myself down and just saw myself as this unique looking person who’s killing it at life. That sort of confidence led me to dating, but it only happened after I completely accepted myself. You will not be able to progress productively in your journey if you do not love yourself first. Please work on this and remember that you may only think certain features about you are undesirable because the girls on tv, social media, and in magazines look different from you. Not all boys (or people) fall prey to what they think they should be attracted to. If you completely disconnect from the outside noise (tv, ads, media), and completely focus on yourself, your dreams, your future career, and your success, you might start to find yourself less bothered with this. Many boys in middle school and high school didn’t like me because they thought I wasn’t attractive. But then I met one who did and we’ve been together for 6 years. I felt like I met him at the right time, when I was full with self-love and radiating with confidence. There’s no place for self-hatred in that equation. I really wish you the best of luck on this one 💛

When it comes to confessing before your crush leaves, you normally supposed to confess even when you know she is going to reject you. If you get rejected, that should be enough closure to move on. That moment was a position where you either confess or you don't. If she leaves, the chance to confess your feelings is over. So not a time to admire from afar.

Our assigned seating in school always put him right by me and he made me laugh all year long (this pst school year) I like him but was never going to say anything. I got Snapchat during quarantine and added him. We talk a lot. We were up for an hour one night just talking. He’s number one on my best friend list. Recently I made a YOLO. He sent “tbh” with his name. I sent back (didn’t post to my story) “tbh I like you... but I’m not gonna post that... Oop I said it”. He responded wow. I asked him if he’d known, he said “kind of”, I asked who he liked and he said “I don’t like anyone. I don’t want to get rejected so I just don’t like anyone” should I keep talking to him? What should I do? I want to stay friends because I feel like I know him pretty well now but I don’t know what to do! Please help me!!! Edit: he does not go to my school anymore so really the only way I can talk to him is through Snapchat

He was like that wasn't - (his friend) and he was like "I am home alone" and stuff and then he was "I don't like anyone either" I texted him back, and he said "it's fine I'll act normal at school" and then now, I'm crying in my bed watching this video. So if you're out there I just wanted to tell you that I still love you...

Damn it. I’ve liked him ever since 2nd grade, and I’m a sophomore in high school. I’ve been to his baseball games, basketball games, I’ve been in the same class, but he still likes her. A girl he’s known the start of this year. He went to out volleyball game to tell her. I’m so sad. I wish I would’ve knew. This is so hard. We had a crush on each other throughout middle school, his friends told me that. But, I’m so sad. So sad. Taking it so personal. I wish I could be his type. She’s so much skinnier, athletic, she’s blonde, pretty, loud, social, funny, and perfect. I wish I could be her. I don’t wanna be me right now. He teases me everyday, I was tempted to thinking he thought about me, but it’s just her. She isn’t the smartest person, but she isn’t ditzy. She’s so perfect for him, but she’s so mean to me. Her tone and facial expressions make me upset. She’s so mean. I wish her and him the best. I hope you guys make it out. I’m just grieving this hard right now. I was never boy crazy, but for him I am. The only real crush I’ve had. He’s not even cute just funny. I like him.

My crush, my friend and I were on a walk, we usually go on walks like 2-4 kilometres every weekend and my crush said, that she had a crush on no one. I didn't want to believe it and told myself, that she just doesn't want to talk about it, but some days later we were still talking about crushes, but with another friend and she told her too, that she didn't like anyone. At that point, I was really sad and if I was alone I would've cried. Now I'm here to get over her. :(

I am my crush’s best friend first and I introduced my friend to him and we started playing games together that time it’s him and I who was close and for 2 weeks I stopped playing that time my friend and him got close and then he started to talk to her like the way he used to talk to me🙂and I did everything to him I just sacrificed many things to make him happy and when I made mistakes he would yell at me don’t talk me and he just blocks me when I keep sending him messages like sorry and when he makes mistakes I would just okk even though it’s hurts me like hell💔 yesterday me , my friend and him met for the first time and it was fun at the first and when he touches her I just can’t able to loot at them😭I felt like something is crushing my heart and when he holded my two hands I just felt that butterfly moment that was just🥺 after sometimes I felt that he is more into her like keep on talking pictures of her and talking about her and we started to take pictures first I took a picture only one in b/w he said in this photo only he is visible and as I am darker than him I am invisible🙂💔I just laughed but deep inside it just broke me and he started to take pictures with her like 4 or more😭 and I was just staring the other side and I was walked away a little bit my face just turned really sad I wasn’t able to smile🥺 then he was about to leave home I said bye first he looked back and said bye to her first like 2 times and then looked at me and said bye😌after we reached home I posted the story on Insta pic of three of us and then she posted our pic. He reshared the story of hers by hiding his face and he didn’t reshared mine and I asked why he said in that pic he is not nice but he posted hers by covering his face🙃 and just replied 👍. I can’t tell you how proud I am of you for doing it, even when you knew they didn’t like you back. You have to remember that doing this is for yourself so you can finally get your closure and move on. It may be a little late to comment😅 but I felt the need to express myself about this so... I followed your advice and finally gained the courage to confess my feelings to him a month ago, and even though I was prepared for any type of response, it was shocking to know he didn't feel the same way. We decided to continue the friendship because I thought the situation would be manageable; but I was wrong. It still gets me from time to time... Like now. 😔 We both talked about it once, he said that he totally understands and respects whatever decision I make and that he will be there if I need him. However, I was going through a lot at that time, so I told him that it wouldn't be necessary at the moment. I'm concerned that deep inside, I don't wanna let go of him since his a really close friend and a great person, it's just that it hurts to love him this way.😕😕😕 Sometimes, I tell myself that is better to get rid of this weight and just let him go, until it hits me all over again and it becomes a nightmare to bear with this confusion. I know I can do it. I know I will be able to handle the pain and become more stronger... It's just that it's very difficult because he has always been there for me when I'm at my worst. There are many things in life we cannot control. However, our mindset is something we have full control over. You can stop if you really want to. It takes patience and dedication and self focus but I believe you can get there.

I told my crush I liked them and he said “I know” I said ok and just went home. Two days later he’s dms me saying “I’m sorry” and just said that he didn’t like me. 4 months later his schedule changes and then he’s in my 4 period class. We started to be ‘friends’ but I didn’t feel like that because he always made fun of me. One day I asked him “why do you hate me so much?” And then he said he didn’t and we talked about it and he stopped talking to me.

It sounds like he doesn’t know how to handle the situation. He wants to be friendly with you but it sounds like he also wants to keep you at an arms distance just so you don’t feel like he’s leading you on (which explains how he’s making fun of you). I don’t think he hates you, I just think he’s worried he’ll give you the wrong idea if he talks to you as a friend. I want to say that I’m really proud of you for telling him; that’s a hard thing to do. I don’t believe he is handling it well, from what you said. Please try to move on from him and focus on your own future and success. I don’t want this weird dynamic to go on for even longer, it’s just a waste of your energy. Don’t try to talk to him anymore. Please focus on yourself and try to not give him anymore of your time. 💛

Awh man, it sounds like you need to be apart from her for a while. I know that’s not what you probably want to hear but if she’s already expressed how she felt to you, I agree that there’s not really a point to doing it again. I believe you two can be friends but I also believe that you need to separate yourself from her for a small period of time so you can give yourself the chance to move on. If she’s a good friend then she will understand. You can’t put yourself through this much torture. Life is too short. Good luck! 🍀
