  I needed to see this video. I'm going to a party this weekend and i have never danced at a party or anywhere. When i say never i mean never. I don't even know how to dance but seeing this video is giving me the courage to just go out and cut loose. I might look like a fool and people might laugh at me but if i don't care then that's all that matters. We all need to stop caring and taking things too seriously.

  Hello Miss Neeka! I have a question, how can I start out a youtube channel? I may or may not want to start one. I'm a bit nervous and a bit camera shy.   Thanks for the question! I originally started by just making content that I was interested in. I am not too worried about trends or what’s popular. I was camera shy when I started but now I’m pretty comfortable with it! Don’t worry about fancy equipment, just use what you have access to and try to make a video that you’d enjoy watching. Those types of videos are always the most fun to edit. I’m personally looking forward to making more videos once my schedule gets less crazy. Good luck with your channel!

  All I did was confess my feelings just to hope to let it go because all this time I thought she was single until I saw a post on her Instagram if I got a guy. When I told her I would hope that she would change your mind but she said she understood and she still wanted to be friends. But honestly I wish you would have been honest with me and if she really didn't like me and said I gave me her number and acting like she liked me she could have just told me that she wouldn't interested or had a boyfriend. Because I literally thought she liked me till I found out another guy was talking to her

  Me and my crush liked each other and he kept on saying he wanted to tell me something and I just thought oh maybe he wants to tell me some normal. Then he said he doesn’t like me anymore and asked if HE CAN BLOCK ME, I was literally speechless and i was just so heartbroken and Yk now that I am looking at the text messages it just makes me sad cause he was the first crush of mine to know that he likes me back and I also the first one that I have his number so it honestly makes me really sad but yea.

  Has anyone ever been embarrassed about being wrong? Being the Ioser who thought something and ended up looking fooIish? To drumroll it, I thought a coworker was unskiIIed and Iesser, and then he proved himself, saved a life, and now I feel like the fooI. I always thought _he_ was. Now I'm embarrassed for that...and for respecting him for the wrong (conditional) reason. It's something I don't like about myself.

I'm a student leader at a catering business, and I learned that the guy (let's call him Tom) had signed up for a service by himself. He has made some mistakes at work, like the time he set the tables with the wrong linens. Besides, he graduated at 20 at a small charter school, he still lived with his mom at 27, and he didn't have a driver's license. I really thought little of him. I thought it was a bad idea for him to work alone, so I went to our boss. She was upset. Told Tom she didn't think he could manage and was all "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen" and she told him he needed someone there to guide him. Well, that night, she and I both learned our lesson. In downtown, we witnessed Tom protect a man from two brutaI guys. At some point, they got Tom and were about to finish him, but Tom saw my boss and _amazingly_ broke free of the grips. FerociousIy, Tom scuffIed and overcame the _two_ *bigger* men. It seemed the more he looked at our boss, the more strength he had in him. He had amazing tactics and strategies. While the two men were arres ted, my boss apologized to Tom for earlier. She said he was amazing and she believed in him to work the shift. But he refused and quit. Told her she didn't _truly_ respect him; it was all conditional, based on his proving himself. I'm like her. I didn't *_consciously_* think Tom was a Ioser. I *_automatically_* thought he was one. I didn't think the word, but I just felt that way about him. But I was wrong. He is more than what I thought. My boss and I labeled Tom, and now respect and believe in him...restrictively under the circumstances. Do you see why I'm embarrassed? And just in case you're wondering ,yes, the man Tom saved is absolutely fine.

  Preach it sis. And we see that the worship goes into not believing that they could do anything bad or be imperfect. Like people not wanting to believe OJ could kill his wife when the evidence clearly shows he did. People just didn't want to believe it. The halo affect as it's called. The media is a big problem, but you're right, we don't have to consume it--we do have a choice. And who cares if people get offended, let em. They need to wake up.

  I do not directly fear that rejection but that we get to see each other everyday and it would be so awkward. And another problem is that this dude is completely stranger to me like we are in a same class that is two ours a week and we don`t talk at all and it is even worse if I just go to text him and say "I like you" bc it feels like i am so creepy bc we don`t know each other. And my country (Finland) is so like silent and we don`t talk to strangers so I don`t know how to get to know him. And we have just under moth and then we go to diff schools so I don`t honestly know what the fawk I am supposed to do :)

  I always thought of these kinds of possibilities, but in my life, I feel like what always happens is some other possibility. 😂 I’ve confessed to my best friends at the time that I like them twice-first in 2018, then again last year. The first time, I had no clue whether she liked me back. She was nice, but we stopped being friends. I thought we were going to keep being friends, but she never hung out with me again after that. I also lost the rest of my friends in that group a few months later. Last year (2023), I ended up telling a girl that I thought feelings were about to start. She was my best friend in New York, and we were all the other had for a bit. We really helped each other out, and I could tell through her actions that she definitely liked me. But… she told me she didn’t like me. One week and some weird flirts from her later, I asked if she liked me again, but was too scared to say it. She really didn’t like that, so we stopped being as close. Then, she went behind my back and talked to my best friend back home about me, and now I’m not friends with either. I think this one WAS closer to possibility 3, but I also lost my best friend from back home, after I caught him lying about me to her, which just made everything so much harder. I think my life is better without all these people, though. They weren’t on my level of morality. All of them were extremely dishonest with me at times, some of them also tried to be manipulative too. It was hard to get over, but time really does heal all wounds, and I’ve even been on some dates since last year. :)

  Uhm, I'm pretty sure embarassment has a function in our lives, you can't just get rid of it, same thing with anxiety, shame, anger, they may be negative emotions, but they serve a purpose. You know who never feel embarassed? Psychopaths. People who truely do not care what others think. I think what you are actually talking about is self confidence and to have self confidence in situations where people are likely to judge you. Just don't go overboard, otherwise you'll end up in the confidently wrong subreddit.

  I feel like this phenomenon is frustrating for people who have experienced it, but it's part of growing up. Rejection is gonna hurt, but you need to experience rejection to learn and grow.

  Don't dwell on it, move on to the next one. It's completely normal to get rejected, happens all the time, the key is moving on & stop thinking about it, be glad that you have the courage to ask, now you know how they feel. The staring part is to keep you as a backup plan incase they ran out of options. Ask yourself, do you wanna be someone backup plan or their first choice?
