Good stuff, Dan. Same problem here, pre 600 mile svc. Had it working twice in 20+ attempts. Only with QS on. Will try with QS off and check. Dealer getting the heads-up before that svc. Keep you posted!

Good informative video 👍and as soon as I saw you pull away I thought that’s Bexleyheath! I used to live in Ightham road and Stapley road. Live in North Devon now. Sorry a little off topic there. Back to your cruise control issue, I have a 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 1000sx with an intermittent CC activation fault and I’ve found it to be the combination back brake light and CC cancel switch, it points down and is well exposed to the elements and I can see that it isn’t fully returning after using the back brake preventing the CC from switching on. New part ordered

Thanks Graham, new rear switch installed by dealer and seems good so far, Suzuki have now recognised issue with rear break switch spring that is attached to cc so we’ll see 👍🏼

I tried the cruise control, but found I couldn't bypass my mental programming since I use cruise control on my work vehicle ( medical transportation, 2021 Hyundai Sonata) that has adaptive cruise control. On the bike, I was expecting it to automatically adjust speed and distance relative to the vehicle in front of me and when it didn't it was instant brown trousers time 😀

It’s a nightmare tbh, mine self corrected which makes me believe it’s a sticky sensor or something like that, speak to dealer and get it logged, there’s a few now saying the same

hi dan tried differant settings i can hear it but only just and yet the phone is very loud ive emailed sygic to see if they can help will keep in touch leon

Thinking of changing my gsxr1000 for the gsxs-gt not sure now here about the problems with the cruise control may wait a bit longer see if they sort it out videos are good 👍

Thanks David, I’m pretty confident it’s just a software thing which a recall will sort out, absolutely love the bike……. Might be worth putting your order in now if you’re seriously considering as there now a bit of a wait apparently, I’ve heard new orders now will be with customer August time

On the press/demo bike I tested that was taken round the dealers, the CC worked fine for me. I even commented on the fact as I found the H2SX wanders either side of the setting. It did need longer presses than I'm used to on other bikes. I have to say though that I'm surprised it works at all while you are running in. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it works Ok after the 600 mile service. One other question, are they Suzuki heated grips or aftermarket? With everything working on can-bus these days rather than 'proper' wiring, stray interference can do all sorts of strange things. Good luck getting it sorted.

Hi Mike, heated grips are suzuki……. Others now having similar issues with cc, I’m guessing it’s gonna be software upgrade at some point, although mines working fine now

Watched your video. My us bike had it 600 mile service. Over 1000 miles now having same intermittent cruse control issue. Reported to dealer. One question for you is that phone mount are you using?

Hi, hope your issues get sorted…… that’s the normal motorcycle Quadlock mount with vibration dampener…… I now have a slightly different setup which you’ll see in my next video coming next week

The other thing I did was connect cardo to bike snd iPhone at same time, does seem a little louder but not great

Are you connecting bike as “2nd mobile” on cardo? Seems to be better that way

Just wondering if you made any further progress with this? I’ve had my GT for around 3 weeks now and started having the CC issue around 250 miles in (at least that’s when I first noticed it). Dealer has advised that they had the issue on their demo bike and have reported it, as well now as my issue, to Suzuki.

I’m interested for an update too. I had the 600 miles service today and no fault was found on the diagnostics. A work around is to turn off the bike and turn it back on, this has fixed the issue for me every time but obviously needs fixing permanently! Cmon Suzuki you wankers!

hi dan nice vido have the same problem with the volume cardo is turned on full as is sycig is on full as well can only just hear it i have had it working with the sound on full but i am unable to find the setting again have you solved the problem thanks leon

So can you control the unit moving as I want the maps options
