I have the same issue. Bought my GT 1000 September 2023. Put 4k miles on it and the CC worked perfect. Then it started flashing 3 times and not engaging. Took it to dealer, 3 weeks later they said Suzuki says it’s fine, and provided a snapshot of the owners manual page 2-155. It says if it blinks 3 times and does not come on, stop the bike, turn of ignition, restart, continue riding and try again. That does work, however as soon as I stop at a stop sign or light, CC turns off and cannot be reengaged without restarting engine.

My local Suzuki dealer let me take one for a long test ride (200+ kms) and i had a similar issue. Got the cruise to work 3 times but once i got on the freeway (motorway) i couldn't get it to work. Great tips on the keeping feet and hands away from the levers and the sticking sensors. Great bike and will pretty much purchase one when stock arrives

I adjusted my rear brake light switch so the light comes on earlier...it fixed my cruise control issue....

@nigelmedina1734 hi Nigel, going by what the dealer said it’s a switch with spring attached to rear break which can be tightened or loosed by turning, sorry m8 not that good technically but pop in to your local Suzuki dealers I’m sure they’ve done it a few times now on this model.

Same problem, went out yesterday CC worked a couple of times and then when I got to a long dual carriage way it decided not to work, it would blink 3 times then went off,tried it numerous times to the point I'd run out of carriage way and I was no where near the brakes.

So the blinking cruise control button problem went away the more miles you put on it? I got mine yesterday and the same thing is happening, 3 blinks then shuts off....

Hi, yes got to about 450 miles and started working fine, my friend picked his up and done the same but only until 100 miles then started working……. I think it’s a sticky sensor on either break or clutch

Any joy getting your cruise fixed? Dealer able to say what it is? (so i can pass on message to my dealer). I have what sounds like exactly same issue with cruise and will be taking it in next time i get out. Managed to get it to work 4 times in 3 weeks and countless times when i have pressed the button to have it just flash three times and go off. Like you in the video, i am clear of both brakes and the clutch, the revs and speed are high enough. Its like one of the detectors for those things is giving false feedback to the cruise control most of the time.

Hi Jon, I booked it in to the dealer for 1st service and cc issues, from that moment onwards the cc has worked every single time, dealer tried it and it worked and I’ve had no issues since covering another 350 miles

@@bikemaddan9311 hi Dan, unfortunately mine still not right. randomly seems to misbehave less than when new but still a regular problem after first service. My dealer apparently being told by suzuki that its a unique problem. Wonder if you could tell me who your dealership is? then my dealer can have a dealer to dealer chat. See if they can sort it out between them. Other than that the bike is great fun 🙂

Hi mate good luck with it mine seems ok fingers crossed, can I ask you if you have MySpin working and you go back to the main bike screen by using the back button can you then get back into the App ? I've done it by mistake a couple of times and have to stop to get the Maps and MySpin App back on I can't get it back while on the move ?

Yes, the trick is that once you’ve gone back to usual screen hold down the back button not the ok button 👍🏼
