My Carefully Planned Everyday Carry

My website: EDCPocketTools.com
This is the EDC that I'm carrying currently as I am in the process of moving. It's definitely more than I usually carry, but it should only be for another week or so, and then I can go back to a more minimal setup.
A new batch of CatClaws will be ready very soon! Subscribe to the newsletter on my website to get an email when they are in stock (I won't spam you).

I love videos like this where you show HOW you carry these items rather than just have the items on the table.

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I was going for. I forgot to mention in the video but I wear almost exclusively Carhartt pants because they all have those useful side pockets. Just for those wondering how I carry the side pocket things with other pants on.

love this! something of note, the Streamlight is NOT waterproof. Many like the functionality and size but its a major drawback imo. There are a bunch of other AAA lights worth considering.

That's really good to know, thanks! I agree and now that I think about it, I'll check out some other AAA-sized lights. Also, love your content! I watch your videos very regularly.

Olight I3T EOS with a 10440 battery is what I’ve settled on for its light, compact size and output/runtime. I’ve been getting about 3 hours on low and 30 mins on high and the output is better than a standard aaa would produce while it still runs on NIMH and alkaline aaa batteries. I keep a backup battery in a modified chapstick case.

Treat rusted metal with phosphoric acid. I use it to revive rusted tools. If it is minimal surface rust it will either wipe off or turn grey. I pour a small amount into a plastic container with a lid and dab a small rag in it to wipe it on. Be sure to wear rubber/latex gloves and eye protection.

Your EDC is not strictly what most of us normally carry with us everyday, you have a complete Repairman / Mechanic / Electrician / Plumber / Decorator all purpose tool kit which is way beyond most of us carry for EDC whether at work or simply out and about I consider normal EDC to be:- a watch, a phone, a wallet with cash & credit cards, ID cards etc, car and house keys with a small Swiss Army keychain knife/multitool, a small flashlight, a larger locking bladed knife or Swiss Army multitool knife & if you have one a licensed pistol - those are normal EDC items - not your tool kit

I have that Anker PB if it is the 10,000mAh version. Really small for the capacity so incredibly convenient size for EDC.. Also have the Knipex as it is extremely useful and versatile for the size and weight - also has an incredible grip as well as long as it is rotated in the correct direction. I was going to get a Swisscard for a wallet but got the SA Alox Mini Champ for a keychain instead. I have a Leatherman Micra which has very good scissors but I just prefer the feel and precision Swiss engineering of the Mini Champ.

That's fair haha. I actually do have a carpenter belt that I will wear when out on the property, but the problem with it is that it's hard to get in/get out of my truck if I do, so I'd prefer belt pouches which are more comfortable to me.

An EDC with 3 pairs of scissors is not carefully planned. This video is long, rambling, boring and you basically have a toolbox pulling your trousers down. This isn’t EDC for most people it’s more like EDC for inspector gadget.
