I agree with you. The Sod Buster is my favorite slip joint but I like the full size because I have big hands. As far as fixed blades I can see you using an ESEE Izula or one of their other smaller blades

Great EDC gear, and your opinion is great. I found my perfect EDC fixed blade Williams Blade Design and TRC knives SZK005 in ELMAX with a golden APOCALYPTIC finish! AWESOME! It has the best sheath , and black burlap micarta is gorgeous. I love it!

Erica…lil sis…you have to know something. I am a Firearms Instructor for my department and also my Dept’s. Pistol and Rifle Armorer. I was approached by a “friend” a couple years back, they gave me their budget and I selected the Ruger EC9 with the fixed irons. I, foolishly, misjudged Ruger and placed them in the same category as Taurus Semi-Autos. I could NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. Not only did we go round for round with ZERO malfunctions; for having fixed sights, it is one the most accurate pews I have EVER fired. The EC9 led me to the LCP to the Ruger MAX. Hands down, the EC9 and LCP are pews I trust my life with, and I was humbled to learn how incredibly durable and accurate they are. You made a great choice, and I that is a pistol I would give my OWN daughters to carry. I did not know you carried and that puts a smile on my face. I wish I had your knowledge on knives and blown away at your amazing carry and knowledge and wisdom. I want my girls to be their own person, when they get older, but to say I want them to have your capabilities would be an understatement. Great channel, and you amaze me. I so wanted to train James (JYF) and get him his License to Carry; and I think we may still do it. I found him because of you sister! Take care…I’ll be watching!

I have both the Microstrea and the Macrostream, as well 🙂. Great looking edge on that Stockman. I live in California so it's difficult to get a permit to carry a firearm. So my Beretta 9mm and Star Firestar 40 cal only get exercised at the firing range. Good video, you have a lot more fixed blades than I do and I don't normally carry one on a daily basis but I'm sporting my Manix 2XL in CRUWEAR and my Paramilitary 2 in S45VN. Today, taking up some room in the pocket. Thanks for sharing, hope you have a great day.

I actually carry a prybar as well. Prevents me from doing stupid shit with my folding knife that would snap the tip or dull the edge with scraping but i will be honestly i need a bit more than just a wedged head for me to carry it. A bit driver and socket with bit storeage will always convince me. That way it allows me to tune, adjust or repaire my knife while out away from home.

Good job on that edge 👍👏🦅. And you picked a good reliable pew pew to carry . I m a huge Ruger fan for many years now , red hawk , black hawk , security 9 , Ruger AR 556, the .22 , the Ruger precisions are super nice for me for distance . That’s a nice setup though to carry daily does the light come on when un holstered like the veridians ?. For me it’s that or a light and smaller older style .32 kel tec that totally disappears but is there 👍✌️

I've been using my NGMC Plain Jane Bar a TON lately and I freaking love it! Archie is the second best Archie in the USA lol. One thing I'm stoked on is just how lightweight it is...I don't even notice it in my pocket (unlike your Mom's hand, which I definitely notice). What do you think of the Hart multi-tool?

For me, the Sod Buster Jr. Is my main go to for a true EDC knife. I always have a mini Big I Designs pen and a note book with me, and I often carry a Leatherman, a modded Signal being my favorite. Our knife laws in Canada are not totally ridiculous but they are grey enough that I only feel comfortable carring very small two handed opening knives in urban settings. In rural settings , my paranoia settles and I am more likely to carry a Benchmade. I should be carrying a mini pry with me instead of prying with a blade.

Case Texas Jack or Trapper for slip (Northwest back when Derrick was alive (RIP), and GEC for special occasions.) HK ps30k for edc carry, hk45t own carry, swk10 for field work Buck 110, Emerson horseman, Spyderco para2 depending on the day/job. Leather over Kydex. Trayvex for wallet. Keep it up, and you haven’t called me mom in awhile and she is drinking again….😅

I can’t hate the bugout . It’s actually one of the special ones for obvious reasons . Totally disappears in basketball shorts for a summer carry and that BM hidden canyon fixie with the sandiwiched has been super cool for summer as well with an ulti clip clipped on the waistband totally disappears . I notice about everything else .

There are probably always two sides of a story. A couple of days ago a few people wanted to throw me in front of a train at the station. I saw those faces and if I didn‘t have selfprotection I at least have been injured seriously. But in Germany they are about to banish every kind of selfdefense. You can buy stuff, but you are not allowed to carry or use. Just blind activism.

When I served, I was issued a victorinox spirit and after having it in the field I just got more and more disappointed with it. It was super unreliable, locking mechanism broke, the pivots would clog with dirt, tools would bend super easily and generally just finnicky and difficult to use. I just couldnt understand why they wouldnt spend that money on a Leatherman that I knew didnt have those issues instead. Kinda makes me wonder what makes you like it over all the other options out there? Also, the one edc item I really dont understand is the prybar. Most of the ones that are usable at all are overpriced to the point of no longer being a sacrificial piece, the cheap ones tend to be just unusable. They dont do anything that a multitool and/or a knife doesnt do, the ones made in grade 5 titanium alloy (which is about the worst grade you can get) are stupidly expensive, weaker than tool steel and brittle so they break while doing anything that would break a multitool/knife too. And for some stupid reason they all need to have built in cap lifters / bit drivers and whatnot which just structurally weakens them even more. Then of course, for it to have any usable leverage, it no longer fits comfortably in a pocket imo. Ive tried several and was disappointed every time. If I have prying needs that isnt solved with a knife or SAK at this point, im fine with going to my toolbox and getting a Milwaukee demolition driver (awesome stuff btw, have one for every toolbag/box at this point), which outperforms these in every single way imo. Except not fitting in a front pocket. I really dont understand them, I find them to be a solution in search of a problem. Anyone feel free to tell me what they use theirs for that a screwdriver/multitool/knife cant do better. Im willing to have my mind changed, why is having one of these in your pocket better than having a cheaper and more effective tool nearby in a box/car/backpack? But hey, at least youre the first person ive ever seen hype up pocket prybars without trying to sell me one via a sponsor or affiliate, thats nice! Anyone reading all this crap has earned 10 points.
