10 years is such a long time as far as the Internet is concerned. KZread has only been around for 20 years, and we've seen tons of content creators rise and fall.

In the uk we had the leaders promising "short term pain for long term gain" with austerity. The problem was that it ended up being short term pain for long term more pain.

Sending money into propping up new industries, enticing firms to move into certain lower income areas, sending functions of government away from london, like tax bureau into some northern england city

He would also probably have a much better chance then someone like markiplier, the general public would probably not respond super well to someone who made their name playing video games or doing sketch comedy but you could spin most of Mr beast's videos as just doing philanthropy work with extra steps.
