It boggles my mind for how much money Felix makes. How many crazy expensive things he can buy but here he is with his modest, humble set up. A simple desk. Simple screens. Simple shelf. Why do you feel like you are being talked down to… pewds enjoys smth more minimalistic I understand, those other youtubers prefer something more not for the price pr flex of wealth they just want to have the best available (monitor desk etc..) if i could afford it i would for example get one of those one piece wooden slab desks that are so nice… there is this yt that makes them sometimes they have those rivers of resin painted blue… looks so cool… and I really like setups like that… if i could afford it get it it wouldn’t be flexing… (also I would buy some nice editions of the books i like even ones i have already read like pewds at 19:10… so much thing you could do…

I had no idea they moved to Japan. Re: that door that can't open, a possible solution would be to install that door as a slider instead of swing-open?

You could remove the closet doors and have it as a "walk in" shelfing area. It would help connect the gym area too, could store some of the gym stuff in the closet. Get some bands or different lifting accessories hanging. Also would allow you to put the gym mats down without the door

For the door to the "closet" just have either sliding doors or no doors for the space. Saves so much space and looks fantastic. Easy, quick and cheap solution!

You’re right, eggshell foam does basically nothing. It dampens some of the high range frequencies, but leaves the rest of the them to go wild. Most bedrooms have low/mid range issues and getting rid of the high end just makes them more pronounced. If you get what they call “full broadband” acoustic treatment you can get a somewhat tamed room. you’re right again a broadcast microphone like the EV mic you’re using has great ambient rejection and as long as it’s close to your mouth you won’t hear much of the room as shown in this video.

You could do more for the room using some strategically placed artworks than using sound-proofing, and there is amazing art in Japan that would complement the room. The taste on every single part of the room is amazing, it really reflects your personality. With the doors I had a similar issue with the space on the closets in my house so I change them for sliding doors, I believe that could also help you with the space and maybe if you use sliding doors with a japanese style this might help to the aesthetic of the room too.

1:06 The foam padding on the walls are meant to stop reflections and yes, they're useless in this instance. Those pads would help a Sound Engineer doing critical work. The difference won't be noticeable on a microphone recording youtube videos😂

Love the balance between being a minimalist and not wasting space. So many people just put one thing across an entire wall and then never use it because its too empty and awkward. Also love the timid hands behind the back like hes showing his mom that he cleaned his room.

gym setup in the gaming room is such a great idea.

My monitor setup is almost the exact same as yours except my portait mode monitor on the left is split into two screens

i love how these updates of japan are just felix,marzia and the pugs living their daily lives,and doing normal human things.I also appreciate your love to the pugsand marzia,i see alot of content creators today that use the people /things they love for veiws.Felix i hope your living your best life,you deserve it :) PS: sorry for any spelling errors i made.

This feels like a more relaxed workspace for felix as he becomes more relaxed in his content and begins to lean toward retirement and perusing what he enjoys

i've not seen pewds vids for a long time like 7 to 8 months or something. i've noticed when he showed off his tiny gym that his also a bit buffed since i last seen him. aside from the billion $ setup and cool tiny gym and library, big up to my man pewds.

There's room eco that is really noticable in the video. You should look into do some stealth sound dampening. It would also help alot with improving the sound from the speakers.

it's always nice to see cables being put in places where the room won't look cluttered and everything looks organized.

Neat set up. Planning my future gaming room and my boys said PewDiePie has a new gaming chair which suits my white house. I've added it to my shopping list. Thanks for the minimalistic hidden cable ideas! Work and fitness stuff in the same area would save me so much time.

Would it be too much of a hassle to get a house tour when everything is ready? I know this is a big request and a possible invasion of privacy but im genuinely so curious as to how Japanese homes look and how you guys decorated. Really good rack + good adjustable bench and some dumbbells is really all you need. And that set up is sick, except for main monitor. Non-ultrawide curved monitor kinda doesn't make sense at all. And those speakers also don't really make sense, at least not if you use them for the computer. Get something like Genlec one or two and use stands to elevate them above the monitors if your desk doesn't have space. It's not that they are too expensive, it just will not give good results even if they are in this setup.

The fact that pokimane put the sound dimmers on the walls wonky is killing me

That home gym setup looks amazing.

I would consider upgrading doors to the sliding ones. You lose some space for the mechanism, but you dont have to deal with annoying doors
