If you use the RN-N1 remote for your DJI Mini 3 you can get a handlebar mount for it. Just attach the remote and phone and away you go. There's a handlebar mount for the DJI-RC (with a built-in screen) too. The Mini 3 does tracking and thanks to the obstacle avoidance sensors, it's fairly safe except when going sideways. If you haven't gotten your 107 cert, you might consider it. You do have the perfect small form factor kit of 3 cameras. Perfect for bikepacking, hiking, and other activities where weight is a factor. Love your videos! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Ryan, great video ❤️
It’s not the camera equipment it’s your creative eye you are so enthusiastic and amazing your videos have inspired me tremendously to get out there but your true talent is your creative Eye you should be a director or start a film school but I would miss your bike videos I rewatch your videos like people play their favorite songs thanks again for all your hard work creativity and inspiration

I agree! I like the music-free videos. There are too many people who get music-happy and add in some obnoxious tune, but what makes it more obnoxious is that they have no idea how to mix the level of music into a scene but still have the spoken words audible over the music. Thanks for doing it right!

Ryan be like: *Buys the super expensive new Mini 3 Pro, saying it doesn't have tracking.* Also Ryan: *Doesn't know that this is actually the first mini drone that HAS tracking, which is why it has the front and back pointing sensors.*
You have done an excellent job with your drone getting wonderful views, and a few that boggle me as you use the controller while riding. You can’t well in the sun light, view is small in the phone screen, you don’t have point to point flying, and you have even flow up valleys with turns while riding and over ridge lines. Darn good job. You probably know thought Litchi will let you fly point to point, even programmed points. All that would eat up some time away from making miles though. 😊

Thanks Ryan for a great introduction to video making. You mentioned a few courtesies and regulations about drone use. Do you have an FAA Part 107 drone license? Hey Ryan instead of power bank check out Schumacher's is Schumacher's portable car jumper. This is a very informative video now I’m inspired to get out there and make adventure videos! In this video you focused on your setup when making bike related video. I’m a runner and came across your channel from the running angle. I’m curious how your set up changes when you are off the bike. GoPro seems like a must, but you bring the Sony and the drone too? On your dual 12TB hard drives - sounds like you have them setup as a master and slave for backup, but hopefully you have some offsite or cloud storage, right? Just in case something happened to your equipment at home. I backup my 4TB drive monthly to a spare hard drive that I keep away from home in a fireproof safe. Just want to make sure you don't accidentally lose your content sometime down the road. Very informative video, thanks!

Great info, thanks for sharing! I shot video of every soccer game, family vacations, hikes, bike rides, you name it. It was a LOT of work! I actually stopped shooting (for a bit) when a parent at a game didn't recognize me because I didn't have a camera in front of my face. I realized that seeing everything through a camera view finder is not the same as seeing it with both eyes. My family actually got mad when I didn't make a video on one of our vacations! How do you keep motivated?
@duzer
2 жыл бұрын
Motivation can be hard (as evidenced by my break earlier this year) but when it comes down to it, I love the process...and now it's my full time job, so that motivates me as well. If I don't make videos, I don't make money.

The one thing you didn't touch on is. How do you keep your cards arranged by day? Do they have a time stamp on the video? Do you have a on screen meter to monitor the capacity of the card? How do you know when it's full? You should do a master class. Love your content Ryan.
