The very best slick track engine I have ever ran is a 340 Mopar. It is so much more forgiving than about anything out there, other than the 347 Ford, which was patterned after the 340. A solid 500 hp engine would be an advantage. My favorite head for that purpose was a ported 273 head. They were incredible. They only flowed 235 cfm, but they had 205 cfm at 0.300” lift. That’s better than than my W2’s and better than a lot of other heads. Good run!

Keep digging, you'll get it Chris! I can't begin to tell you how much my nephew spent running his UMP A Mod over the years, but it wasn't cheap! He ended up with a pretty high dollar Mullins engine & a Pearce chassis. He's now git the last Kate Model chassis made & a Crate Motor. Next year he's going Open Late Model. Never ends!

Once NASCAR, NHRA, and open wheel seasons are over the only pro class racing going on is dirt track in Nevada and Arizona. Even Tony Stewart shows up for dirt track during the off season.

the blue and white car, i think i know him from before. he used to race here in lady luck speedway in lubbock texas. had a different livery but same colors. pearl white and blue metallic. i think his name [bear in mind i was a 10 year old at the time] was michael something

Try double clamp, 175 right rear, 150 left, and a pull rod. Probably need a 800 to 850 right front and a 750 left front, tie down sgock on left front and a 90/10 left rear

Good video and editing by the way 👍 Curious...Where do you get your sleep on a multi day racing ? Is that nice camper beside your pit yours ? Or that event close enough to home or an hotel ? Or just like I would do and sleep in the General ?

This is cool, I've never watched much dirt car stuff. I grew up at an asphalt track so it's neat to see more about the cars. The track in that first run was fuckin horrible man, I've seen better roads in Afghanistan. I'd be pissed beyond belief too.

OK it's a hockey advice but after getting a dirty check my dad would say don't retaliate and get a penalty just remember his number and get him back later.
