It's honestly classic giz. He use do give thumbs up to people as he was diving down the inside in supercars, other drivers HATED it 😂 David Reynolds is a famous one that's very funny, search something like SVG David Reynolds thumbs up 😂

Larson will race clean..if that was Hamlin he’d get frustrated that he couldn’t get around and would overdrive or use him up to make the turn… that’s racing to Hamlin if your not fast enough… push them up the track and say that he could’ve lifted if they didn’t wanna wreck”… I was starting to be a fan cuz he’s such a good driver but nah… he’s a weasel who never owns up to anything and is the king of pit road speeding. He’s perfect his eyes…guess that’s why he’s titleless

@@JackSlatersPontiac Larson did really well but svg wont feel pressured until people are forcing him to go 2 wide through almost all of the track, its very common for supercars drivers to go 2 wide on city tracks, a supercars driver strongest tool is switch backs he can find a pattern for a city track extremely fast. you'll see him intentionally take a slower line while leading to slow the driver behind then gives them the spot which forces them to make more mistakes while leading then while behind he finds every spot they are slow and will use a switch back to overtake on the same corner almost every time all it is is a pattern that the cup car drivers will have to learn that and they need to get much closer to the walls through chicanes just my 2 cents as a life long supercars viewer no hate to larson at all as he did drive phenomenally

If they could put it on a weekend where it's NOT a high risk of rain, it'd be amazing. Has had some of the best NASCAR racing I've ever seen when it's dry, the course itself is awesome. Just needs to be not in the middle of summer

Supercars have ridiculous licensing requirements for drivers. But 'under exceptional circumstances, in its sole discretion, Supercars may approve the entry of a driver based on his/her international or historic Supercars racing achievements'. So it COULD happen.

SVG's epic burnout was the perfect end to one of the best races we've seen in NASCAR's upper tiers all year long.

That was the best racing. I've seen all year and NASCAR be it Xfinity or cup. Kyle Larson and SVG put on an absolute Clinic of road racing Of course Chicago is a great track and we don't see this kind of racing the rest of the season for the most part particularly in cup or NASCAR built a GTD Car they are passing off as a stock car

I was in Chicago on Tuesday the 2nd. I wasn't there for the race so other than seeing the bleachers and the barriers I didn't see any racing. But I tell you what, I have never seen so many people in my entire life. Glad NASCAR runs at least one street race a year.

It's called "sustained loss of traction" in NZ, and fines can be up to $4500NZ, which is around $2800US, plus 6 months suspension!

Custer being penalized is bs. If yellow is out and you’re on the track you maintain pace car speed, and when you put you maintain pit speed. I’m not a ford guy or a Custer or an SHR guy but penalizing a guy for that is, to quote who I think was Benny parsons “it’s like hanging a guy for shoplifting’”

Last year Kyle said that he was watching SVGs race craft to see what he could learn. I wonder if Austin Hill took some notes on how to race cleanly and respectfully. What I did notice is that AH freaked out when he saw SVG in his mirrors and lost 3 places. lol. I honestly hope he can get over it one day, but it means he is going to have to take a couple of steps up the maturity ladder. SVG wouldn't want him scarred for life either. Hill gives the finger, SVG gives the thumbs up, for a good battle, I hope they shared a beer and swapped notes after the race.

What a great race, highlights package is heaps better too!

I get your point though, I just remember the Supercars doing the Yas Marina trip a while back and how the V8s even managed to make that track slightly exciting. But mostly I'd like to see a cooperative weekend between the 2 series - NASCAR exhibition essentially supporting the V8s and maybe a return trip for the V8s at COTA or somewhere NASCAR would like to give a little international promotion.
