My 13 year old daughter learning to drive manual on my 1k hp Mkiv Supra (read description)
Note that she started with a Mazda Miata in a closed community not going faster than about 20mph same was done with the Supra. This was only 1-2 gears as her first car will be a 5-6 spd manual transmission and she is getting the sense of different clutches. This Supra will not be hers now or in the near future. it’s not that learning in this difficult, tbh it’s hella lot easier. But if one only learns in a car like this it’ll give a false sense of feel, like control, handling, ease of accelerating, ease of not stalling on start, etc. She looks like she got that down tho. Really fun ngl, I myself learned in hellcat lol, thankfully I got the handles so didn’t hit no curb lol

Props to her, she went a lot farther than I ever did. Maybe it’s because I’m left-handed or just generally uncoordinated, but I just cannot get it down. I’ve spent time in parking lots just focusing on starting out, stopping, and shifting from 1-2, but the minute I get to a stop sign or red light…it’s like everything I’ve learned disappears.

My dad started teaching me how to drive when I was 15yrs old... by the time I turned 16yr old,, I was waiting for him to go sleep so i can go for joy rides ❤
This is such a great father I mean I learned how to drive at the age of 8 and it’s amazing that the father is teaching her at a young age, you know gotta teach them young.❤
13 years old? Wow, I was just learning to ride my bicycle at that age 😅
She's doesn't care about the 1000hp Supra, she's just enjoying the time with her dad ❤
This reminds me of my dad when he teached me how to drive at age of 12th. He think i'm big enuf to learn and he would relax while instruct me once a while. While my mum would freak out most of the time😂.
I really want (driving) manual supra too Like this girl
Videos like this I love watching but they also make me kind of sad because they make me realize how many experiences I missed out on with not having a dad. I mean I thought about it when I was younger but once you're an adult it hits so different
Parenting done right shout out to you my boi
Kudos dad! I'm gonna do the same w my baby girl.
when i was 16 i learned to drive manual on a Nissan Hardbody, shifting into 5th gear and maximum speed is 90 MPH
Just started lessons, only made one mistake in the 4 hours of lessons I've had. The car is one of the new for things. Like mid way between a fiesta and something else. I started to roll back at a roundabout but didn't let the clutch out enough when i accelerated so revved it.
She did ok ,no stalling and didn't do the break and gas routine that I had a lot of kids do. I've been with about 20 first time behind the wheel teenagers and it is always a fun time for me!!!! 2021

Everyone's first manual car should be something cool. My first car was a 1991 Mazda RX7 convertible 5 speed, bought when I was 19, but the car I learned to drive manual in was a 1974 Jenson-Healey convertible. I was 11, and only JUST barely big enough to see the road and reach the pedals. My dad taught me how to drive automatic when I was 9. Same guy taught me in a Jenson Healey
