    That’s awesome man! Great decision! Be ready for the power and torque difference. I have custom maps for the vortex to shoot it to 47hp and 31tq on pump gas, stock motor, big 3.

Just wonder, I have an 12` YFZ450R (Japan) with a FMF 4.1 with powerbomb since brand new, currently with big 3 and YFZ carb intake cam and a MSD FI. How much I will be gaining (aprox) if I switch for a new full exhaust from RP or Rossier? worth to spend more on it?

    Wish you tested a DASA shorty or the regular pipe. Never knew they have a “pro pipe”. I’ll have to check it out

    I tested these pipes for sounds, quality and performance. The ama is getting strict on sound which is becoming a big deal. Other times I’ve tested the dasa shorty to the classic and it was no difference

    i have a 2020 yfz450r all stock, i will be getting a fci and vortex but i dont know what exaust to get. what exaust pipe do you recomend for best performance? sound doesnt matter

    I have a 2023 yfz450r se, i have the fci intake, asi delete, 38 motorsports breather, and rossier r5 exhaust. I want to get the vortex ecu, but was kinda worried about messing up my bike if i set it wrong, do know the best settings for my bikes setup ?

    This was just for a basic operations. All of the exhaust systems need to be fully tuned for best results and healthy engine operation. I’m not promoting the dials because they were all too rich down low and that leads to engine problems.

    I just got a new YFZ. I've read that the clutch basket is a ticking time bomb. Is this just for highly modified engines, or will it be fine with just a pipe and Vortex?

    No it's for stock setups also it's a weak link and definitely the first thing u should address

    They aren’t bad, just out dated. I don’t have any graphs to show because nobody runs them. Still better than FMF and Osh in my opinion.

    I have an rp outlaw. Have a dyno video on my page . Would you recommend a different exhaust . Been looking at the Duncan fat boy . I do desert racing around 90-140 miles each race .

    Definitely recommend a full size exhaust system, not a shorty. I recommend the RP 16” or the Rossier R5

    Just got my 21 SE back from a place out here in Salam Oregon. R5 FCI and Vortex map 9 and i only did 45/30. A/f was straight as an arrow Tho. Should i be worried about 2 or 3 HP less? Thank you

    Map 9 is for a built engine, not suppose to use it on a stock engine. Maps 1-4 are for stock engines, so yes you should be worried.

    I recommend sending your Vortex in to us for a custom flash tune especially for the R5. I’m getting high 47hp and 31tq on pump gas.

    @@sarmientomotorsports910 Nope they used map9 then did the dyno runs. I have a 14 yfz450r that I basically did the exact same thing. I bought that vortex from Duncan as well. Only difference was I wasn’t using a FCI and it did 46 31.

    The power under the curve is what matters to me. I would have liked to see the fmf on here since it gets so much hate and Yoshi.

    Best I’ve seen with yoshi is 43hp. That’s why I didn’t test one, plus didn’t have one to borrow for this.

    The fmf are horrible, the pipes that chad and Joel run aren't off shelf pipes kinda like the yoshi pipes that joe byrd ran back on 04 to 06 were actually built by Dan lamey of dasa to match his engine kit, the yoshi is a pretty good mid range pipe, bnr motorsports has had great results with them on their xc builds and highly recommend them. I'm sure Ryan can produce some numbers for you, peak numbers aren't always the best thing to be chasing, and thats what most of these pipe manufacturers and engine builders try selling people

    ​@teamwoodswarriorsracing2004 The FMF pipes are not that bad at all. I've got one and dyno numbers were 45.91 HP and 32.23 TQ. Full FMF Power Bomb header, Vortex and lid removed with stock air filter

    how loud was the RP? was it close to 96 decimals? would it lose alot of hp with a quiet core?

    The FMF is a good system. But unfortunately it does not deliver the power. It averages about 4-5hp less than these in the videos and it’s one of the most expensive systems so I’d expect it to be better. The last time I dyno tuned one I got 43 wheel hp, new engine, on pump gas. On a built engine I’ve seen 7-10hp just from switching the exhaust.

    this is great factual content men. obviously its better with a tuned vortex. but, would you say you we can start with a RP full system, and upgrade to a vortex in the future? (just starting in the sport) or you would say, RP system without vortex makes no sense? thanks

    Definitely Rp 🫡💪🏾🔥🔥… Quick question would be the best stage cam to drop in a yfz 450r With only Rp full Exhaust system and Rp intake ,vortex ,45mm throttle body. Would a webcam are hot cam be better? And what stage would be best. Tryna get more top end and mid range
