yes, my new 2021 Pro has LED high and low, but the DRL is not and the turn is not, they sort of still suck IMO. my Pro Tacoma headlights are much better. FYI- the Morimoto headlight unit is not compatible with a 2021 with LED .. not yet, they are working on a new version.

@@emilcaruso3088 xenon depot has a set of LED bulbs that will work for the DRL/High beams in your 4R.. About $200 for them , but worth it in my opinion..

Congratulations yay I bought one a month ago Xp Predator package I love it just don’t like that the high beams are still yellow.... I can’t wait for them to update theses lights for a 2021 model

I have a 2015 4runner. I Choose the Alpha Rex Pro series and installed my own LEDS. Im not sure if the Morimotos have you install the DRL harness with the add a fuse to the IGN Fuse. I had problems where my ignition coils would not fire causing a not start condition. I ended up wiring it differently using extra fuse slots that wasnt used and wired my own switch. Hopefully you did not experience that issue. Oh and btw the distance sensor should be aimed every time the front bumper is removed. We do that a lot at work. But non the less great install vid!!!

Heads up, I have a 2021 and realized these new gen 2 morimoto headlights do not work currently with the 21 as the main hi/lo connection does not fit. I contacted morimoto to confirm. They said no harness adapter until around January for the 21. Morimoto tails did fit just fine on my 21.

Same, recently got the lunar rock 4 runner and does not fit. Called morimoto today 02/01/21 said they could have a part for that in a week or a year no way of knowing.

DRLs are white... what do turn signals look like when the lights are on? is it a switchback DRL? Does the white DRL turn off and just flack amber?

Hey did any error lights come on when you disconnected safety sense?? Mine is arriving today and I have a 2020 so just seeing what’s the best way to install them. I’ve seen other 2020 owners say they were able to install without taking the bumper and safety sense completely off.

Not the mine..21’ bright bright icy white blues and the fog lights as well those have the mean look to it. 🤤 they looook sooo nice

I think the Philips H-9 bulb modification is brighter than these LEDs or the 2021 OEMs. The headlight thread on Tacoma World is great read.

Can someone let me know if they ever get the 2021 sr5 premium harness or a light that can fit...theses are my favorite lights and a lot of 2021 owners are missing out...

My Morimoto XB's are stuck on high beam. any suggestions?

IMO I think they use the halogen so people can customize theirs the way they want. Kind of like the old school civics. Part of the fun some would say. And they save some bucks of course.

I haven’t had any issues. I do know Morimoto hs a a solid warranty too.

They will not work for 2021 as the harness has changed. Be on the lookout for new gen lights for the 2021 or a wire harness adapter for compatibility.

Heads up bro.. this kit will not fit a 2021 for runner. Morimoto knows the connections are different and are workin on a wire harness but currently non at the moment.

Just found this out as I tried to install them on my 21 trd orp earlier today

My concern with the 3 lights is people will assume I have my brights on and flash me all the time. I don't want to be "that guy" with the blinding lights. I love the look but am perplexed. Are you having issues with people thinking you have your brights on?

I don’t think folks actually see the light itself just the output. My f250 has the morimotos and they have 4 lights on them and I rarely get flashed. The control of the output is top notch with the morimotos. I don’t foresee this being a problem for you.

How did you solve fuse box cover fitment after installing the fuse tap? Were you able to close it cleanly?

We pushed hard... I will notch the tray a tad bit so the wires are pinching.

moostang09 my fuse box wouldn’t close, the add a fuse is on the higher part in the fuse box, if it was lower it was fit cleanly. Is your fuse box curved on top then?

Should’ve gotten a 2019 or lower. TRD grill with raptor lights 👍
