Took a lot of pre-planning but it was worth it! 15 years of doing this has made me impatient

just a reminder, you dont need to spend this much to go out and see the outdoors. buy a cheap 4x4 and learn how to fix it up for less than $10k

Absolutely right. This is more of a no holds barred build but the outdoors are easily accessible with even a semi capable vehicle. A 4wd 3rd gen 4runner stock will keep up with this build almost anywhere.

If you have to ask then you cannot afford it. Just kidding.Super Charger installed is roughly 6500, bumpers im guessing at 2500, tires and wheels 1600. Im just guessing but I would say the whole build he has 15000 in aftermarket stuff.

Me: dreaming when I bought my 4runner in 2018 Me: driving stock 4runner TRD in 12/2020. Been all over off road and found out it's just as fun without the expense.

Building a 2019 4Runner with unlimited sponsored finances. FML

Me: (puts a playing card in the spokes of my bicycle) "Nice."

Glad to see at the end he actually went off-roading in it and didn't just spend thousands on making it "look cool".

Videos like these keep motivated to stay grinding. I can’t wait to be able to do whatever I want whenever I want and not have to worry about financial limitations.

@@therightfish The pro is a joke. You can get those wheels, tires and shocks on your own for less than half the price the dealer charges. I guess if you REALLY need the exclusive paint color, then you have no choice.

@@bassage13 The pro is no joke. Just the price they charge is. Actually after comparable tires and suspension it'll cost the same to do it to a stock 4 runner. Better off buying the pro cause the modss are all ready on it. Only 50k that's all

Literally everything you did in this video is everything I have left on my 19 4x4 taco build. And I’m so jealous.

There's nothing I'd rather drive than my '05 TJ Rocky Mtn for off roading, especially beach/dune wheelin, trails and just cruising around in the warmer months. Doors and top in the garage where they belong. But if I'm going to be taking the family on a long trip, there's nothing better than a 4Runner. Both vehicles last forever, well at least the 4.0L I6 engine does, can't say the same about everything else on a Jeep. Everything else seems to just f n break! The TJ is a fun toy while the 4Runner is the real deal.

4runners are really land cruiser padros. The gx460 is a fancy prado with high quality luxurious stuff, the 4runner is a simplified land cruiser prado

I've had a stock 4Runner one for a little over a year. Unless you're towing in hilly areas you really don't need it. Sure it's annoying for it to downshift two gears on a steep grade, but is it $7,000 annoying? Nah. The whine ain't worth that much either

It's tough for me to say because the armor tires and supercharger all went on so close together. I've been fully loaded with the tent on more often than not and I'm averaging just below 13mpg.

@@Outworld I would have to agree. After my Magnuson supercharger install the power is more linear and up top it's got a punch! I still have 265/70-17 tires. So interested how the 285s feel without gearing and the supercharger.

Nice built. Honestly I'd rather drive this insane 4runner instead of a $100K fully loaded BMW X5. Simply because this is SPECIAL, so much cooler than the other normal boring cars.

Some dealerships do sell brand new, modified vehicles. Ed Martin Toyota in Indiana has a similar build for sale right now (sans the supercharger). Findlay Toyota here in Vegas has a custom shop that will do just about anything you want.

Dope. Very tasteful mods

What is interesting is the order of things done. While it was all planned to be done in a short time frame, most people buying rigs for multi-purpose don't do mods in this order. Tires, then sliders. Get those on and your are moving and grooving with grip and some required protection for your rock rails straight away. Can figure out all the rest as time goes on.;)

Love it! A little bit more video of the finished product would have been great.

Love it! Definitely some schmeckles spent on that build. I can’t even decide if a front bumper is on my radar. After factoring in a wench, lighting, shipping and install that’s a lot of coin.

I wish I had an extra $15,000 laying around to build my 4runner like this.

Lol, buys a $50k suv, spends an extra $15k+ on accessories without lifting a wrench. And all those accessories and no front locker... Wish I had that kind of money to throw out. Like others said, you don’t have to spend $70k to go out and explore the country.

Rear locker was a huge selling point along with the crawl control but don't use that part as much. Overall it was a killer deal and much less than the TRD Pro which was an easy choice.

The look on the toyotec technician's face as he was backing it off the lift fucking killed me lmao.

Not a joke, I went off roading at Miller Jeep trail with my stock 4runner Trd off road and saw a group of Jeep coming up the hill on their 35’s and 37’s tires as I’m resting 3/4 way to the top.

I dont think Ill ever get tired of watching this over and over haha. Love it!
