@@Sky_TEC_Illustraition_Systems If you want to learn from the original masters, as opposed to the current Style- heavy work in this video, pick up anatomy books by Burne Hogarth and George Bridgeman. Study the layouts of Joe Kubert and the simple yet effective line work of Alex Toth.
Thank you for this man!!
I just discovered your channel and this video is very informative.

It’s hard to find a straight answer on the internet: do you know if the Best of Wizard How To Draw book includes a mix of the other collected editions that exist (Anatomy, Storytelling, Advanced Techniques etc) or if they are something separate/ compiled a different way. There’s also different looks and names for those books like Anatomy vs Heroic Anatomy...? It’s all very confusing haha.

Thank you for the comment. Yes. The Best of Wizard How to Draw book is a mix of topics. The other collected editions do a deeper dive into the specific articles that covered the individual topics. I do not have the books in front of me right now but i am fairly confident that my response is correct.

@@diligentvisual2086 that’s a great answer thank you! So they are just compiled a different way and released as different editions then, and I guess there must just be different versions that exist? Really thanks, that helps a lot :)
My copy of Mythology is kinda rough 😆 Joe Mad is one of if not my favorite artist

Aten Akehnaton I hear you. These books get quite expensive when they go out of print. Especially, when they were printed in low quantities to begin with. Keep an eye out for a second run.
All the book marks lol

Is there a art of Greg Capullo book? He’s besides Jim Lee and Tony Daniels is my favourite artist because he has such dark looking art like it always looks like a horror and I like that gory style
