@@blaz2515 I am 6’0” For me it is a very comfortable bike to ride. Long trips are not an issue.

@@andrewfreeman5165 congrats man! Be sure you wear all of your gear please! I just got in my first accident yesterday and only had a helmet and thin gloves and have road rash on 25% of my body. But as soon as as I recover, I’m definitely getting back on two wheels AND with all of my gear! lol It’s a fun hobby that you’ll love! Be safe out there!

My tail tidy for my 660 took 30mins start to finish, once I spread the rear plastics. Looks beautiful. I purchased my RS 660 two weeks ago based on your demo videos. It truly is an amazing bike, and pretty much no one can keep up off the line and leans so nice and smooth. It's GREAT!

Got all my Evotech parts from Motovation for my Aprilia RS660. Those guys are awesome. Even when the weather was bad in Texas back in Feb, they took care of me.

This might be my favorite episode, very funny, and the bike looks great!

I just got the bike on Friday and could not remember all the goodies you Spite put on there. So I had to rewatch this video. THANK YOU Spite for all your hard work...that I absolutely did not want to do. I appreciate it all!

I want / lust for that bike ❤️ Also @Spite the sodering is nice because you have the security it will never come apart but over time with wiggles it can still break / corrode / lose connection. Have you guys seen some of the milspec connectors and crimps that are available? It's overkill / MotoGP grade in case you guys get bored and want to go down that rabbit hole. Great video 👍🏻

Having the shop manual for your bike comes in handy when doing stuff like this then you know where all the nuts and bolts are

You guys need to put sleeker blinkers on that “fender eliminator” instead of the factory ones that still a sore eye even with that tidy.

Evotech tail tidy is the best. Hollow billet aluminum where wires run inside. Competitor tail tidys usually stamped steel with wires hanging out in the breeze.

Only right exhaust option for the 660 is the mivv underbelly one

Torx screws. Bought a ktm and then bought me a set of torx keys to suit. Been spinning spanners for 30 odd years. Never owned a set of these til a euro bike graced my stable. Feel ya on that one spite

I want the Aprilia660, I can afford it without a too major dent in my finances but I'm a newbie on my second bike with a little over ten thousand Ks experience and the better I get the more it seems to me I will never get close to the limits of my cbr500r (first bike was a rebel) there's footage of guys pulling badass wheelys on them, whipping around liter bikes in corners and fuck I can't even come close to that stuff.. its an odd frustrating feeling.

The M6x60 bolts broke through the plastics when mounting the Evotech tail tidy, plus the other bolts where way too long. What were they thinking there?

@@juliusdrath510 absolutely terrible. Two engines exploded within 4,000 miles. One time a cylinder detonated and then on the new engine it threw a connecting rod and almost killed me. I bought a 636 instead and it’s a much better bike

These are not modifications, they are add-ons. A modification makes a significant difference to the original intention of the machine

For $3,100 there’s no reason for the Yam not to do a ride-and-review on the new 2021 Lifan KPM200. 200cc (I know, I know) 75mph top speed Over 100mpg 6-speed Lifan has been making bikes for 20+ years and are insanely popular in countries like China, England and Russia.

don't forget to try putting the swing arm main pivot "flip-chip" in the higher position! have you tried that yet? not sure if it's listed in Aprilia technical publication but, the swingarm pivot bolt can be moved higher (I believe it comes in the low position from the Factory), which should raise the rear of the bike a bit and possibly change rear suspension character too.

The engine cases have the ability but the hole in the rearsets for the swingarm pivot is not eliptical so it wont work like on the RSV4...maybe with a pair of rearsets(which havent been developed yet) you could change the pivot height

@@chrisdunham2911 yes, you are absolutely correct - I went to try it myself and found out that one of the bolts no longer lines up, it would take some machining or another mounting plate to try the "flipped chip"!

Tail tidys transform these bikes. Why do manufacturers insist on putting these huge protruding bits of plastic on? It ruins the beautiful lines

That bike needs a different color scheme. The green with those wheels is ugly.
