All their covers are amazing, but their covers on the immortal song show are something completely different level. Especially the last "Why calling". The song itself is old and unknown to foreign listeners, but their instrumental (they wrote it themselves, since the original song almost doesn't have it) and vocals.... I highly recommend it!

I truly agree, Jungsu‘s voice is truly angelic. I have rarely ever heard such a beautiful, powerful voice that still sounds so clean and pure!

Ok, I know I was demanding you check out their cover of Tomboy next, but I'm actually glad you picked this one for exactly the reasons you pointed out in the reaction: it's a great choice to get a great feel for all of their raw vocal abilities. It's also a good one to show off their different vocal styles and how they make them work together. Jooyeon is power and vibrato and probably the most versatile with a strong leaning towards a rock sound, and probably my fav kpop vocalist. Keyboardist Jungsu is piercing and clear and perfect for pop. Guitarist Gaon and drummer Gunil have very mellow smooth voices, and I'm particularly fond of Gaon's deep tone as well has his rapping that reminds me a lot of Han from SKZ. Synth player Ode is punchy and shouty in a way that reminds me of a lot of pop punk bands like Blink 182 and Sum 41, which is so nostalgic and makes his rap lines really powerful. Junhan doesn't really sing, aside from the occasional harmony or whisper effect, but he speaks plenty through his guitar. That being said, Tomboy should absolutely be the next cover you do. Alternatively, they did Bring Me The Horizon's Drown live on Weekly Idol and totally smashed it. Oh, and if you were impressed with their vocals here, then just wait until you get to Good Enough and Dear H from their latest album and their first ballads. They pull out all the tricks without it feeling gimmicky and the songs are sooo powerful and gorgeous. There are mvs for both, but for Good Enough I actually prefer the more visually stripped down version they did for Hello82. Also, cute little member fact, bc Junhan is usually positioned somewhat behind him, Jungsu often hunches low over his keyboard during Junhan's guitar solos so that audiences on the far right of the crowd can still get a good look at him while he's shredding. Junhan is a hardcore introvert, but I think it's really sweet how the members always try to showcase him like proud chaos bros lol.

I never noticed that about Jungsu crouching that's so cute

As fans, this was their first ever cover and performance that was not HDD, and it dropped out of nothing one day. It was eye opening, the way their vocals sounded, their self made rap (which they always do in their covers) and the emotions took us by surprise. Thats why fans love this cover that much... Im so happy to see you apreciating it and loving them, specially since this was XH freshly debuted 10days ago...

I remember watching this before when it just got released and it made me realize how much Jooyeon’s vocals weren’t given justice on HDD lol.

the thing with this cover, is Jooyeon sounds scarily similar to the vocalist of Nothing But Thieves (Conor Mason) and he's really a fantastic vocalist. I was always a fan of Xdinary Heroes since their debut trailers, but seeing this cover made me fall in love with them. They really captured the essence of this song, (nothing but thieves is my favourite western band too) so it makes it perfect that xdinary heroes decided to cover it. Jooyeon's definitely in my bias list too with the outstanding vocals. You guys should definitely check out GOOD ENOUGH by Xdinary Heroes, it showcases all of their gorgeous vocal abilities.

Xdinary Heroes feels like this magical discovery that I almost want to keep secret, because I want them to only sing for me. But at the same time, I want to share, share, SHARE so EVERYONE can be as thrilled by their stunning vocals and instrumentality as I am. One thing I love about them is their use of TWO keyboardists. Their depth of sound is enhanced so much. But TBH, I have to go back to their vocals. For some reason, when I first heard of XH, I assumed they would just be a manufactured "band" with kids that could sing reasonably well. But I didn't think they would be anything special. Boy, was I wrong. SO, so wrong. If you haven't already heard these, you should give them a listen. Xdinary Heroes "Dear H." since everyone is already asking you to react to their tomboy cover, i’m here to put my vote in for their cover of Drown by Bring Me The Horizon. that’s also a perf where you can hear the differences in their vocal tones and it’s also such a raw (in a great way), powerful performance, almost in the same level as this Impossible cover.

TOMBOY COVER PLEASE!!!! Impossible was my fave cover of theirs until Tomboy came out, it's insane. But this Impossible cover will always hold a special spot in my heart... it's the first time that Jooyeon's vocals actually made me cry and left me shocked. The talent in that kid is remarkable. And really ALL of them too... it's crazy how well rounded this group is!!

This song is kinda full circle for me, lol. Wonpil from DAY6 covered it as well which is how I was introduced to the song, never having heard it before. I then sought out the original and fell in love with it on it's own. (P.S. Nothing But Thieves also did an orchestral version with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra which is just *chef's kiss*) And now Xdinary Heroes has just blown me away with their interpretation of it. This is by far my fav cover that they've done so far.
