Xdinary heroes have been one of my fave groups since they debuted but they really stole my heart with this song. It was really cool seeing the breakdown of the music and explanations behind certain aspects of the song that make it so emotional, i couldn’t help but keep nodding along

Jooyeon and Jungsu's vocals aree soo heavenlyy, the best of male vocals in kpop imo

Holy crap, I did not expect y'all to react to this one but I'm beyond thrilled bc it's legit my favorite song of the year so far! I still get chills every time that final chorus verse hits with the strings and Jooyeon's heartbreaking vocals. It's the kind of song I want to see played in a packed stadium, the crowd a sea of swaying lights and so silent during the song that you can hear every nuance of the music, and a live string orchestra on stage with the band. How epic would that be....Man, this video really amplified my appreciation for the song which is impressive given how obsessed with it I already was. Thank you guys so much for picking this one, XH deserve to be waaaaay more well-known than they currently are and hopefully your bunch of lovely musicians explaining what makes this song so brilliant will help spread the word. And I really really hope XH sees your video too! I think especially Gunil would be so thrilled and honored by it!

the lyrics “you’ll never find this story of mine” with such explosive vocals and then taper off to an ending has got to be the saddest form of storytelling in a song.

Honestly deadlock is one of their best release so far, all of the songs from this mini album deserve more recognition because they're soooo good. Like, you know, they found their own color. My favs from deadlock are checkmate and man in the box. Definitely recommended 👌🏻

This is why Day6, Straykids and Xdinary Heroes are my Ultimate Trinity. The way these groups are heavily involved in the whole song making process. That is why all their songs are soul-pierciing for me. AND WAIT, IS THIS THE VERY FIRST XDZ REACTION? BEEN WAITING FOR AGES SO THANK YOU!

Xdinary Heroes is the very first group in kpop that I've followed since before their debut. Obviously, as a HUGE MyDay, when I heard JYP was forming a "little brother group" to Day6, I was so curious. I started stanning the moment I heard their debut single's teaser. This song in particular means a lot to me, as a fan of Day6 and XH both - knowing the story behind the creation of the track, and hearing the insane vocals and beautiful instrumentals...I got goosebumps the first time, and still do now. It's gorgeous and while I love the rock-y songs XH do too...this one...this one. It's perfection.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and YoungK being involved just makes it that much better

I’m literally obsessed with this song 😭 it’s perfect from the vocals, instrumentation, lyrics to production. Y’all have to do the full album. It’s too good.

Did not expect a reaction for Good Enough! This is the first XH song that I've listened to and it is still my favorite song of theirs! Hope you can react to more of their songs!

This is one of my favorite XH songs and it was so interesting hearing about the technical aspect of it! Thank you!

The amazing thing about the harmony in the middle with the "ah"s was that Junhan, a member who doesn't sing a lot, actually lead that harmony and it's amazing because he is a very good singer but he doesn't get many lines.

My theory is that the ending, ends with a piano because it’s the story of the drummer which is a percussion instrument and piano is a percussion instrument. And maybe the beginning is a guitar because he portrays the girl like a guitar that is held by a guitarist.

UGH I wish you had more Xdinary Heroes on your channel, they are so limitless in their talent. I loved this one

6:25 it's a great point adding to the piano adding a nostalgic feeling in the song... This song really is him (the writer) reminiscing the feeling of love he felt and how the feeling of love changed but it's still love (right?). The song also goes really well with the comment of the brontosaurus: the guitar sound a bit shy, inviting, (but fuller) like they're trying pull the listener to a story and the piano feels like it's somewhat distant and fading (like a distant memory).

It’s so beautifully written and produced that even as someone who has never experienced love can feel the emotions of longing for this unattainable love.

the first time i heard this song, i was in the middle of doing my hw, then 0.1 second in to the song, i STOPPED and rewind the song and then cried my eyes out:). having a moment for an hour straight, text bomb my friend about how i feel, repeated the song, then cried again, then doing my hw again:)

I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on a notification so fast! When I first heard the song I knew within a few bars that y’all would react to it and would have a field day. 🥹 To Jory’s point, I know that Jae (formerly of DAY6 but OT5ever) mentioned that JYP producers almost exclusively use dry production because “it’s more timeless.” So it was interesting to hear that it’s actually trendy. My guess is that wet and dry production alternate in popularity much like the ebbing and flowing of this song. 🤍

This song gives so much longing and sorrow but it makes me want to move on and be happier it makes me cry and gives me chills every single time 😭😭😭💕 edit: if i were to give an indepth explanation is at the start there's like hope longing in the middle it's sorrow and longing the end is the closing of that chapter and moving on (if we also observe the symbolism in the music video)
