Yaaaas!!!! I was waiting for this to blow your mind like I knew it would! This is by far my favorite cover they've done so far, no contest. I don't know what they were feeding Jooyeon that day but holy hell does he fucking devour this song. He's actually said that he's always wanted to be able to do proper metal growls and when that day finally comes my dark little metelhead heart will be damn happy! They have quite a few other covers that I"m sure you'll love too. In a similar vein to their Impossible cover, they also did Bring Me The Horizon's song Drown. I like their cover of Exo's Love Me Right better than the original, though admittedly I might be biased bc at one point Jooyeon puts his pick in his mouth so he can play slap bass and I don't know why but it just does things to me lol. As you mentioned they of course did Day6's song Zombie, but for the It'sLive youtube channel they also did I'm Serious. On their most recent Weekly Idol appearance they did BTS's Dynamite, which feels like a very odd choice for them but it's actually really fun and Jooyeon's voice suits it surprisingly well. Both of their Immortal Songs performances are also great, which to have done that show twice only 1.5 years after debuting is pretty impressive. Their first one was Patti Kim's Seoul's Maternal Love, which they chose bc none of them are actually from Seoul but they wanted to honor the city where they all met and became a little musical family, which is so sweet. Their 2nd was Song Changsik's Why do you Call Me, originally a pretty simple song that they definitely gave their signature flare and sytle to. That's all the ones I can think of, or at least the one on youtube that are professionally shot. Tho Jooyoen is a massive fan of 5 Seconds Of Summer, so I believe there are some fan vids of them covering 5SOS songs in concert. Gunil's favorite band is Muse so I think he's done some drum covers live too.

I never heard Tomboy by (G)I-DLE cause I prefer boygroups, but I had to respect the original and listen to it first. It's like two different songs and I realy love rock so Xdinary Heros won me. BUT usually there nothing better than the original.😊❤

This is what I know to be a fact....JYPE is taking over the 4TH GEN industry. Argue with a wall if you don't agree. JYPE Male Group who's at the VERY top of the 4th gen fame wise, with THE best rappers period. As well as, arguably, some of the best vocalists (along with Ateez)of all of the 4th gen male idol groups? ✓... Stray Kids. JYPE Girl group with the best vocals in all of the 4th gen female groups, hands down, and who's also slowly taking over their area of the industry as well? ✓... NMIXX JYPE band that is not only the most popular band in K-pop, with the best vocalists in all of the K-Band industry, but is actually being recognized on the same level (FOR ONCE)as an idol group? ✓... XDH Funny enough, all three are well known for making music that is EXTREMELY new age and highly experimental, trying DESPERATELY to advance an extremely STALE music scene that considers a throwback to the early 2000 as being "fresh" and "new" which is so incredibly oxymoronic it hurts. Lol The most hilarious part of that, is we have seen with each and every one of them, that if they CHOSE to play it safe... They would each have taken over their respective corners of the industry long ago, IMMEDIATELY following their debuts. Each of them striving to balance being inviting enough to new listeners, yet new and innovative enough to help progress the music industry into a new future. What people fail to realize, is that every genre was at one time or another seen as a blight on music and regarded as noise, and just plain bad. With the two genres that today are the most beloved, at the forefront of what was considered to be trash. Rock and Hip-hop/Rap. If no one had pushed, and fought, and ignored the hate... We wouldn't have any of it today. So the fact that JYPE is THE ONLY label in kpop that isn't forcing the "play of safe and be accepted by the general public" reperandun... Is something to be admired. On top of that, the fact that THESE THREE GROUPS in particular, with Stray Kids leading the charge as they were not only the first, but literally the leading inspiration for the company to even create/debut NMIXX and XDH (Seriously, that's a fact!).... Is probably the most inspirational part of it all. Because these three groups are so talented that, if they had played it safe, they would white literally be three of the most famous acts in the world. I believe that their respective covers of other artists songs are the perfect evidence of this. (Stray Kids don't do recordings of their covers like the other two do, but If you have ever caught some of their performances at the massive award shows, the "Kingdom: Legendary War" competition show (Which they won), or their performances from the last two annual, and MASSIVE, fan sign concerts they held... You would not only see they like to perform covers by some of the biggest vocal legends such as EXO and BTOB, but that when they do, THEY OWN IT.) Fact is, these three groups are undeniably talented, they either already are or are starting to take over in their respective areas of music, and they WIlL, mark my words, WILL... Move music forward into a future that doesn't involve beating a dead horse just because it keeps spitting out money. THAT, I tell you, is what true artists do, they are different, progressive, and heavily disliked those seeped too heavily is "tradition" and a preference that music must adapt to the listener, instead of listeners adapting to the endless possibilities that is music. 🩶
