I remember those games! Only like 4 years ago I think. Texas agreed to play a home and home 2 game set vs. MD over 2 seasons as one of their early season games, thinking Maryland was a pushover easy win but since they were in a power conference (BIG 10), that the win would help them get to the playoff. But…Maryland waxed them BOTH games!! It was glorious!

This game was against an unranked 6-loss Auburn team that got beat by New Mexico earlier this season. The only games they played well in were their two biggest rivals. If they can put up a fight against UGA or Bama, they feel like they had a good season and if they beat one, it's a great season. No other games matter to them in a season showing so poorly.

Good job Terps. Glad someone represented the Big Ten well today. Also sick black uniforms. Thats the same Auburn team that had Bama dead to rights and Georgia on the ropes until the last 5 minutes.

Seems like almost every B10 team is playing/starting their 2nd/3rd QBs. Way to dominate a slow and weak SEC team that wouldn't make bowl eligibility if they played in the B10 (using SEC logic). I mean obviously they've never seen that type of speed, athleticism and all around team in the SEC.

The blatant hold of #9 is the reason they scored their first touchdown and set the tone for the game. He was the only one left to make the tackle and was held from behind. So many missed holding calls, even a facemask hold that wasn't called that would have put them out of field goal range. Don't get me wrong, my tigers played badly but the refs made it much worse.
