With the quarantine, I've been making many of your recipes since I can't purchase sweets and my cooking repertoire got...old after two months. It's a real joy when the recipe goes well.

The chef reminds me of the times wherein my grandma cooked pork dumplings for us. And now that my grandpa is no longer with us, she doesn't cook as much. Sometimes I force her to cook food just so that she can still keep up with her cooling skills.

My Grandmother is Japanese, she doesn't cook very much these days since her and my grandpa ( who is not Japanese) have gotten older he does most of the cooking and I miss these foods so much. I'm glad I found your channel, I know a lot of her recipes and utilize Japanese cooking multiple times per week while feeding my family, but this gives me the opportunity to learn some recipes I don't know and be able to cook for her the way she cooked for us! Arigatōgozaimashita!

The 1st time I tasted Mushi Manju I can't stop thinking about it because its delicious.
