That bit at the end (that you said sounded like Jaws) was the introduction to "Take a Bow" which was to be released on their next album 2 years later ... Matt Bellamys songwriting talent is unbelievable, as are the band's musicality ... my all time favourite band

@dotexe-kr5cm most likely, they've done it a few times, most notably with their live riff that turned into 'Psycho'

Quite possibly my favourite Muse song. It literally speaks to all emotions and feelings I've experienced and expresses them for me musically.

@@mikevinna2096 I dated a girl that hated Muse but only knew of their new stuff. I haven't listened to anything new in years but Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry, and Absolution were all fucking great. I still love black holes and the resistance but my interest started to fall off there.

Best Version Ever, Trust Me! 6 String Custom Manson 4:46 brief guitar improv changed a bit during live performances. Sadly it all went downhill a tad from 2006 in where they got more pop and hugely commercial & by 2009 it was over for me. I only listen to 1999 - 2009 if that but saw them 10 times but only 3 times in 13 yrs.

They’re not as good after 2006 but I think sometimes it’s overstated. Black Holes had some really progressive stuff on it. Listen to take me a bow and tell me that song is poppy. Resistance they end on a three part symphony. Not saying they haven’t gone more pop, but it’s not like they’re just a pop band now. It is a shame though.

Matt’s microphone has multiple settings for different singing types, he has an amazing mid range but his highs aren’t perfect. The mic has a higher gain setting for his higher notes :)

I think some of the performances from the period sound really cool with the high gain on the mic but I’ve seen some where the vocals don’t benefit from it so it’s slightly hit and miss.
