@@Rachelsmemo My Mom has been gone since 91' One of the wonderful things she left with my brothers and I was the Boss's grandmother's Spaghetti Recipe. My brother creates it perfectly like mom, I get close but would rather have my mother's. As a kid I'd fake being sick so my mom would take me to work, and the wise guy's would come in and order me ribs everytime cause they said I was to skinny! 🤣 They were Bad Guys, but Sweet guy's, kinda weird now that I'm older and really understand their organization at the time.

My uncle was known as the gambling kingpin of Washington DC, his name was Joseph Nesline. He would tell me stories of all these guys. He also introduced me to Sammy Davis when I was a kid(I’m 46 now). He was like a father to me. He may have done some shady things but he treated me like gold.

My uncle was a criminal too he was a drug cook (never murdered anyone though) in Australia and my bfs dad and 2 other guys killed him when I was only 14. He was very much a family man and would do almost anything for his family including me. He knew I was dating his "work colleagues" son and the last thing he said to my grandparents was to look out for and protect me. Alot of the time people forget that criminals have family too and we deserve to mourn our families as much as anyone else does.

Like the collab with you and Ron. I can see you got some more experience from him. As always I appreciate all the hard work you do. Stay safe Harmin and Ron and thanks to both of you.

My Italian grandpa (died years ago) owned restaurants and had many “associates” that visited often. They were always well respected and treated quite differently than any other customers. I didn’t know until I was much older that they were mafia men. It’s crazy to think back to how almost feared I was of them and I didn’t even know who they were or what they were about. I have found out many years later that my grandpa was loosely connected with them. I don’t know whether to be scared or feel lucky that I survived this naive!

I've watched the movie Casino many times... One of my favorite mob movies for sure, Seeing and hearing the story being told by Ron gives it so much more depth and perspective. Well done Harman and Ron.

I highly recommend the Wabasha Street Caves in St Paul, MN. Vacation spot for the Chicago gangsters. There is also the Gangster Tour that leaves from the Caves. The tour guides on the bus are in character. It was a fun afternoon of history & mystery.

My great uncle was an associate of frank nitty and ran the business in Benald Illinois. I know some great stories about that. Other family worked with Buster Wortman who ran East St. Louis and St. Clair County. Bill Lyles and Buzz Eaton were family friends. They are all gone now. Floyd Holzpfel, a friend of my great uncle, took a Florida judge and his wife deep sea fishing. The people who buried tony and his brother was supposed to make sure they were never found. They blew it, so you could say they were retired.
