Typical narcissist. They love bomb and are super attentive in the beginning to lock you in. When they know you’re not going anywhere, they drop the mask and go back to who they really are. The other person is pining and hoping to see the charming, loving person they met at the beginning. They change themselves, trying to bring that person back when they NEVER EXISTED. When you are with a narcissist, that person at the beginning IS THE FAKE.

Sadly you attract the wrong kind of partner who are able to size you and your vulnerabilities up. Later when you begin to realize all this it's like trying to escape a cult. You need specialist help beyond normal therapy or counseling......you need an expert in deprogramming such as cult victims do when they escape. It's not so easy as you think, especially if children are involved and you have no money and nowhere to go and no caring family to back you up. @@5thdimension625

The more women are educated by shows like this the better prepared they are to avoid these types. I appreciate this content. They are predators and when they shower you with attention (love bombing) in the beginning, it is hard to recognize the red flags. When there is excessive attention in the beginning of a relationship it is a GIANT RED FLAG. If they tell you a sad story to try and gain sympathy, it is ANOTHER GIANT RED FLAG. Empathetic people are the their favorite target. Empaths frame of reference is often others feel the same level of empathy as they do, when in truth, being too empathetic towards others makes you an easy target. It is sort of naivety even though it is a desired trait (versus narcissistic). A personality disordered person can smell an empathetic person a mile away.

Just watched this and I’m floored ! My story exactly with my narcissistic partner over 25 years. Except my narc was an expert, he would never chance me looking at his computer or social media and would be so deceptive and manipulative that I would never have even thought to look. Until he started getting sloppy and I caught him with the other supply in which he had many thanks to the internet. This guy was an amateur narcissist. Mine was over 60 and was a pro. I became just as obsessed as she was in finding proof he was lying. Unless you have ever been With a real narcissist especially covert, you could never understand why someone would stay in a relationship with all the red flags. They truly are capable of turning a rational human’s brain to mush with all the mind games. They are demonic I wish she would have just gathered her stuff and left. But her mistake was when she threatened him with showing his parents which would have shamed him. Something they cannot accept. It’s eerie how they are all the same half human half not

Of course, very good men exist, but not in numbers and only a really good one is worth it. You cannot even have nice hobbies with a controlling man, putting you down constantly on top of everything. A termination is a no go sign for a relationship; one should always find someone else thereafter, since that thing to happen, there is something really wrong with the relationship. Nothing repairs a lost life and traumatising things happen when sb s feelings are not properly addressed. To me, this guy was immature more than anything, but from that starting point of immaturity things escalated to stg much more sinister for him refusing to grow up. He expected everyone else to suffer and take care of the mess he created. What he did not understand was that they did all that, covering up for his shortcomings, but with such an emotional load that they could not take it anymore, and facing the reality, without the wife cushioning him from it was too hard a cookie for this guy to bite. Compulsive cheaters flee stg, they might have been seriously hurt, but confrontation means stopping, and whenever flight is no more possible fight comes into play. My ex was the kind of guy who crashed vehicles etc. And expected sb to take care of his mess, whereas I personally needed to get by without much emotional support from anyone, so I could not provide him with the kind of safety network for sb else bearing the consequences. I needed a man to share the responsibility with me or to at least let me take care of everything on my own, without distracting me. And I ended up as a Single mother, having a man around just for the crucial start, on his conditions. And a man needs some qualities for that as well, more than what these Don Juans have.

I had a mid life crisis at 49 :) For a year and a half I went out every 2 weeks and was out almost the whole night...what a loser :) No kids living home and wife just went about her life like nothing was happening. I got sick of it after a year and a half and never went out again...yes...I did WRONG things that a married man should not do. It was 7 years ago and I have done all I can to be a good man to her since then. I guess she figured "it will burn out and he'll get sick of it". She was right. I was wrong. All wrong. A middle aged clown. Was she right or wrong in her strategy of just letting me burn myself out? I dunno....it was her choice and I guess if ending up with the loser in the long run and for good was her goal....it worked. But I will continue to try and by the best loser than I can to her :) Life isn't black and white....I don't know why I did why I did...I DO KNOW that I Was a fool. It's not worth it guys. Of course, I'm older than the hills and when I was a young girl, dinosaurs were romping over the planet, but there is NOTHING about this guy that appeals to me. He is so full of himself that he doesn't need anyone else to love him because he loves himself enough to make up for what might be lacking from other people. That cocky pose he affected in those pictures just turned me off big time. I would not have had a cup of coffee with him and I certainly would never have wasted my time dating him. If he appealed to other women then they could have him because he certainly didn't appeal to me. Vicky evidently saw something in him that I do not see but when she became involved with him, not only did he make what remained of her life miserable, but he went on to end her life. Yes, I can attest to this! My ex husband was divorced 3x and impregnated another woman after that before we met on online dating. We got married in my home country and have a baby then immigrated to his home country. From the very beginning he is always away for work and hardly see him. We only see him on special occasions like birthdays or Christmas. Then after 5 years I caught him cheating on me on his phone! I couldn’t afford the divorce and hire an attorney. We are separated now for three years.

She did herself a disservice by marrying him. Sometimes, women ignore the glaring red flags in the name of love, but this only means that they don't love themselves. I don't know why he got married when he could have lived his promiscuous life in peace as a single man.

Internet has brought people closer across national, cultural, geographical, racial, linguistic boundaries. But it has also attracted undesirable elements too. So, people need to exercise great cautions when falling for someone in this vast world of internet whether its for love, relationship , financial matter or any other things .

Watched a doco about meeting online and it showed a list of messages exchanged between this couple who met on FB. After about a month, the woman was writing heaps of times about how much she loved him - in fact the last text read "I love you so much, I can't wait until we meet." Ladies, wake up! Find your self-worth, before you give what little you have got away. Learn to live without a man - it will help you find a worthwhile man, or to be happily single.

45 minutes+ to describe a tragic and brutal crime against a beautiful innocent lady that could have taken 20 minutes at the most to narrate in detail without the numerous "experts?" giving the same opinion of his personalty flaws, his lack of character etc. Just one description from an outside source of this would have sufficed. May he get some character dished out to him while in prison. Sincere condolences to the victim's family.
