There are people who find other aspects of a person attractive like their personality. Sadly, Jennifer was able to fake a good personality really well and fooled Jaime. But it's sad how shallow people are. Because being shallow necessarily means that you end up in shallow unfulfilling relationships. You can't have a relationship with a pretty face.

These are the only things that one really needs to be aware of. As folk on the outside looking in some how never sees the questionable character of the culprit. I thought insurance never pays out to someone involved in the death of the insured. How does she think she's going to be able to use 200,000 in her prison account? First of all, this woman was able to manipulate people….And secondly, perhaps this woman had a more dominant male character trait, and her husband had a more feminine one, which is why in this case it turns out that a person is attracted to another person by that quality that is missing in himself. Or vice versa.

The last story with Dino Guglielmelli - why his brother didn't like her, gee, if Monica was with the brother, I highly doubt he would feel the same. A band of narcissistic brothers. It's everyone else's fault but their own.

The last story revealed how greedy, shallow, deceitful and evil people can be. That description fits Dino, Rick, and Monica. Those types of people all deserve one another.

I used to watch both shows, but I've been living in Austria for almost 20 years and really missed them. I just found Crime Watch a couple days ago which apparently cued the algorithm to send me 48 hours. Now you're telling me Dateline is on here too! Thanks for sharing that info! I'm thrilled! I've been watching old reruns of Kojak and Streets of San Francisco lol. I'm getting ready for major surgery and a long rehab, so I'm really grateful I found some really life crime stories to watch. I feel sorry for the guy who pulled the trigger. He was a vulherable person who was taken in and aimed like a bullet. And those wonderful neighbors of his - they show just how kind he was. What a tragic loss.

I disagree. He had plenty of time to change his mind and call the police. If he thought she was being abused he could have invited her to his secluded house and they could have come up with something logical. I understand the TBI, but he is a homeowner and a father that seems to own a pretty nice vehicle. I don't buy that he couldn't make a better decision. I am sorry for her daughter.

She used him, just like she used Jamie. However, Darrin had a TBI due to the injury he sustained in combat, that explains a lot of the reason he didn’t cover his tracks better. He was very easy for her to manipulate. Plus, I also think Jennifer gave enough info to police to basically lead right to Darrin. Just my opinion though.

Lu-Lu from "dead ringer" is GUILTY. Im happy she realized that and plead out. My X-husband is a boxer a coach at a gym in FL, and he NEVER put a hand on me but won many fights in the ring. Boxing is about DISCIPLINE and self control. People see the fighting an think that's all it is....Lu-Lu not only was hurting his reputation but all boxers. Shame on her, she came to America and like he said got the dream really fast, it's a shame she took her filthy upbringing to America with her, that's not how we do it here. Work and dedication, loyalty will get you way farther than deceit and backstabbing ...

Lou-Lou isn't the cause of the guy pushing his kids out of his life. That was on him. People need to stop being so bowled over so fast by another person or what they do for you. All these cases were recipes for disaster from the start. Good watching though.

I just don't understand why these crazy people won't just get a divorce. Instead they always are caught & end up in jail, which is far more devastating & embarrassing. I noticed that, too! And when asked about the abuse, he said that he was never charged for it before denying it.

So far, this is my favorite 48 hours marathon. The way that the stories told are very clear. The last two victims are lucky that the hired killers have a big heart specially the last one, regardless of the negative issues the jury should look up that this people are heroes. I wish that Jaime was saved just like the two other victims but I guess it didnt happen because he married an evil woman.

I'm not convinced the boxing husband was squeaky clean. The only thing he owned up to was the damaged wall, because there was evidence of that. Just because he was never taken to court over spousal abuse does not mean it didn't happen. Still, that's no excuse for having your husband murdered.

I agree with everything that you said, except for the wall evidence. That damage could have been done by something else (like moving furniture, etc.) and he didn't have to admit it or he could have lied and given that as a convenient excuse.
