On the same day Sherri faked an abduction. Stacey Smart went missing that day, in the same area, and remains missing to this day. While Sherri Papini was wasting everyone’s time, Stacey Smart has been largely forgotten. Hardly any attention has been placed on Stacey Smart’s case.

I can’t imagine how devastated her family is knowing that this woman wasted so much time and resources for her pathetic selfish lies, when they could have been using these resources, especially media on an actual victim. This woman deserves to be behind bars for her wasting everyone’s time and putting so many through so much grief

"Keith Papini, Sherri Papini's husband, officially filed for divorce just days after she pleaded guilty to lying to federal officials about her 2016 kidnapping and mail fraud. According to Shasta County Superior Court, Keith Papini was also granted custody of their children through an emergency order." This pleases me greatly.

Especially since California is a "mommy state." Aka "States that strongly favor the mother." Give you an idea my brothers friends brother was getting divorced and the mom routinely dropped her kids off at his mom's house so she could go party. Like they'll be there for marathons almost a straight month which was hard on them for many reasons. She would spam her and her friends at night clubs, getting shit housed, and top it off she was a rampant cheater. He filed for divorce and immediately she deleted every party photo and spammed "best mom ever!" she and her friends claimed her husband as an abusive alcoholic. He how our state ran so before all this he gave his property over to his closest friends and siblings. Divorce went through and she got partial custody he became basically a weekend dad while she had full custody along with alamony and child support. Basically reamed him hard. For a little bit his ex wife was playing "mommy of the year" until the dust settled. She then would dump her kids on both grandma's and partied by night MLM by day. She even claimed her daughters "were mommies #1 customer." When that money was supposed to be used for the kids.

@@iamjustgregI can't imagine after abandoning her kids she would be very highly favored to get anything granted from the court. If I'm Keith, I'd be asking the court to never let her near those kids again. Even putting abandoning them aside, what father would want such a sick, twisted, narcissistic liar of such disgusting proportions to ever have any influence in his kid's lives? That's what I'd argue. That her mental disorders are extremely unhealthy for them and that if the courts allowed her to be in their lives, it would be a conscious decision of the court to endanger their upbringing. Then again... The courts certainly aren't always just either and it wouldn't surprise me if she got visitation rights.

When she's released a judge is probably giving her full custody with supervised visits by the father as always is the case. Like the mother who had several mental issues, abused drugs, problems with the law and even the agency doing inspections recommended she should NOT receive custody, even her own parents were against it, eventually a judge gave her custody but set a date for the father to contest it before, then cancelled the appointment and gave custody to her. And as you can imagine she shot her child several times with a shotgun and was caught carrying the body in her car

She had a loving husband, 2 very adorable kids & a lovely home. She was a stay-at-home wife who still put her kids in daycare so she had a ton of free time. I wonder how she feels now. Yeah, I think he was extremely uncomfortable because he felt himself reacting to her in a way he knew Sherri did not intend or want. He knew he was supposed to feel like she was being 100% honest and genuine, but his brain was telling him that she wasn't being 100% genuine...based on the many years he's had observing her truthfully telling him real stories that feature her genuine emotions, with the help of I'm sure many experiences witnessing her lying. I don't know how much of his instinctive reaction includes, "oh she's obviously lying about these specific details"...but I imagine a lot of it does come from his knowledge of how Sherri talks about people who have hurt her and who she feels wronged by. I bet at least subconsciously, he senses that her negative feelings towards the 2 Hispanic women who kidnapped her and did these horrific things to her aren't genuine, even when she's describing the terrible suffering & trauma they put her through, a completely innocent victim. He has too much knowledge, too much experience, with how she communicates her real feelings towards people. It's super easy to say " oh we don't know how she copes with trauma, how she may hide her feelings, how she communicates, etc." when we have no experience with her...but he knows, so I'm sure it's setting off alarm bells in his head that she's not acting how he would expect, how he knows her to, if all this is genuinely true. Obviously though, he can't reveal that in front of the cops, so his instinct is to hide it, but therefore lie [by omission], pretend to be feeling/thinking something completely different as she talks, etc. He's a good honest person who didn't go into this ready to be anything but his true self, so it's way easier to hide his reaction by being on his phone, plus it gives him the ability to keep himself distracted from the discomfort + the alarm bells I'm sure are ringing out loudly.

I think this is the most interesting case this channel has ever covered. Instead of some murderer or murderers, it's a even more bizarre elaborate fake abduction ruse all orchestrated by the "victim". She made sure she experienced real stuff so she could describe details of the fake abduction without 100 percent lying. Used burner phones and self harm and obviously a lot of pre planning went into a lot of the details by her. And it is so satisfying to see the agents at the end confront her calmly about the truth, and her still try to cry and lie.

Sherri apparently is a complexed mentally disturbed woman sugar coating things, and presuming she could outsmart the system with her distasteful slouchy feminine charm , where she was busted,,, and lastly where did you come up with whether her friend was a close friend or not, like Police needs your opinion to determine the credibility of a witness ?? ,,,, you sound just like Sherri 😆😆

As soon as she opened her mouth at that interview at the house, it set off every skeptical alarm bell in my brain. Even a very unusual person wouldn’t describe anything in this way, or setup for a conversation in this way under those circumstances. The detectives probably didn’t believe a word of it from the moment they entered the house. I certainly wouldn’t have and I don’t do this for a living.

She was wearing the EXACT leggings she was abducted in, then goes to the washroom and changes her pants. You can see the change from 40:50-40:55 and 44:37 shows the abduction outfit.

My sister is a psychopath. It made my childhood, and adolescence a living hell. (I'm on my 30's). The closer friends I have and trust my life are her ex childhood close friends who saw it all. People would believe me if I claim an alien abduction comparing to the nothing my family and friends believe me about if I claim something about her. She is a Ted Bundy without the killing (that I know of). Now she married a rich and vulnerable guy, she convince him to block me from all social media. I know her male body/personality likes. He isn't one of them. I'm afraid of what could happen to him. But everyone who ever dispute her, lost. Lost family connection as me, lost their jobs, lost their marriages so no one is willing to stand on her way. Neither do I. I'm trying to do the proper paperwork to change name, last name and disappear from family and known friends except from the people I know where her play toys.

I never understood that either. Apparently that's a thing. I was always a working mother until 4 years ago. I was a nurse's aide for 17 years, i started taking care of my disabled uncle at home once my grandfather got too old to care for him. So now I work from home, I can stay home with my youngest child (3 years old) I wasn't able to do that with my other 3 children who are all grown now (26, 24 and 17 years old) I enjoyed working but I hated leaving my kids when they were little. So I love being able to stay home with my baby girl, even though I'm also taking care of my uncle. I wouldn't put her in daycare, for what???

And I'm sure Keith was feeling much the same. He indicated that in their private conversation too, he was confused and blown away, but obviously becoming increasinglt suspicious and disgusted with her. I'd be utterly blown away too and not know what to think, but I would be angry, confused, disappointed and disgusted and he probably was all that and much more. My ex-wife accused me of rape (no evidence, not taking it further than just telling the police and that's it) just to qualify for a free solicitor (lawyer). And here in the UK, that's enough apparently. Meanwhile I'm disabled due to mental illness and I don't qualify for legal aid, I had to do it all myself, without help. I was trying to get back into my son's life, after she had taken him out of mine. She also made lots of ridiculous accusations in court, but got caught in a lie, and the judge didn't buy it and could see she was just trying to keep me out of my son's life. So I'm lucky, I could be in jail right now just from the ridiculous accusations. If she was a more capable liar, she'd be dangerous. My son isn't actually my biological son (but, I was still able to apply in court for contact because: 1) I was married to her at the time of his birth, and 2) I was believed to be the father at the time of birth), because of course she was also a cheater. I'm very confident she was cheating throughout the relationship. But I don't have evidence because she hid it, easily because I'm very trusting.

When he asked why not press the charges, she lied but instead told him that you're not listening. These are clear signs of an emotional abuse. The victim of this case is Keith. He thought his wife was gone and had to explain to his son, when asked if mommy was dead. Imagine hearing that from your son. Keith was under suspicion for months, he refused to give up on her. He wanted her found. That day when his life collapsed he honestly thought her kidnappers were found. You could see his excitement quickly change to realizing his wife set this up. So he's the victim here and put up with her crap for years and I'm glad he immediately believed the police. He worked with them for years, he knows they know their stuff and has every reason to believe them. She was accused of lying numerous times and he always defended her until this very moment. The fact he mentioned his grans bathroom tile that she had a bad reaction to because it was similar to the kidnappers. My god she played him with this story for years. I'm glad he divorced her and went for custody of the kids. She's not fit to look after a dog. She should have got more prison time and I’m glad they judge gave her double what the prosecutor asked for. She admits it now to the judge but she still claims she had no idea and her family treat her like she’s the victim still. It’s despicable to know she manipulated the poor guy James who still cared about her and listening to his interview it was easy to see how she manipulated him, and managed to rope him in to this. Yes he didn’t have to but she’s so manipulative such that he rented two cars. To go out of his way to pick her up in Redding and drive her back to his. To let her stay at his house as he picked up the tab and even agreed to help bruise and burn her. He thought her abusive husband would get the jail, she claimed Keith broke her jaw. but those who were more lies, but he did agree to help bruise her thinking the husband would be held to account. All injuries were self inflicted by her and she got him to shoot pucks off her legs she’s sick! She wasted 30,000 of ptsd trauma counseling funds. Not to mention all the police resources wasted that could have went on a woman who actually went missing the same day as Sherri and is still missing to this day. She went to the back burner because she wasn’t young and blonde and pretty like Sherri. She should apologize to the family of that missing woman from Redding since all resources were used on her. How pathetic that she claims she flirted with other men like that explains her supposed kidnapping. She should have admitted it then and there in the face of overwhelming evidence of her involvement and treated her husband and police with some respect! 😡

I really don't think that's what happened. it seems like she just wanted to run away, and started by trying to make it appear she'd been roadside abducted, immediately regretted it once she'd gone through with it, realised there was no way she could just go home and resume her life with things as they were, and then spent the rest of her stay coming up with ways to make it look like she'd actually been kidnapped. Not trying to make excuses for her actions which clearly hurt a lot of people, but she seems like a deeply traumatised and disturbed person and I hope she gets the support she clearly needs. There's no way someone would do the things she did totally pre-meditated, it seems more like she got in over her head trying to run away from a life she felt (probably irrationally) trapped in, then once she'd done it couldn't bear to be away from her kids any longer. It definitely wasn't some scheme she came up with to have an affair, that much is clear. People underestimate how much being abused as a child can destroy you and make you act in ways that seem totally unfathomable to other adults.

I hope he and his kids find happiness away from this woman. And that she is forever a laughing stock for wasting everyone’s time and traumatizing her family. Stacy Smart is still missing after 5 years and there could’ve been more coverage of her if Sherri didn’t go “missing”. This is a key example of why faking crimes and allegations is so dangerous.

I think at the end when you said one has to ask what was he doing to her that was so bad she was forced fake her own abduction is about one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard you say in one of your videos. That woman was insane. One of her best friends called the whole thing when she asked the detective if anyone told him that she does this all the time and she’s been doing it since she was kid. Then said if she had to guess that’s probably what happened, but it went too far and was afraid she’d get in trouble. There was another woman that had been friends with her since they were kids who said she had a huge temper and was kind of crazy. They had also proven that she lied to people about the Wii thing. There’s no telling how many different lies she told people to get sympathy. It’s one thing to run away from an abusive relationship or to even fake an abduction. It’s a completely different story when you resort to branding yourself, breaking your own nose, beat yourself up, burn a hole in your skin, and then chain and tie yourself up and walk down the middle of a busy highway. Should we say “still one has to ask what James did while she was fake abducted to make her do something that could have easily killed her on accident instead of just going to a business to use the phone or walk down the shoulder of the shoulder of the highway or even a less busy road than the middle of a highway?” I’m sorry but this woman was koo koo for coco puffs.

You deserve all the prosperity you’ve earned so far and I hope this post makes a significant viral and positive impact and a legion of new followers who will embrace this vibe and we know that you have the authority to deliver on that!
