Muon g-2 Anomaly and the Fifth Fundamental force of Physics | Explained| FermiLab

Recently experimental data has revealed a gap between the expected and observed values of a certain experiment. In the #FermiLab recently #muon g-2 experimental has given the world all the reasons to be excited. Does it really predict the new Fifth Fundamental Law of Physics??
The experimental results are hinting towards a new fundamental force of Universe that may explain the Dark energy or Dark Matter or may be something way beyond that.
Lets understand with #ManishPurohit former #ISRO scientist, what actually is this muon g-2.

  • @hemangisavale4447

    Bhai gravity is attractive because of space-time 4d manifold is curved due to existance of mass. This folding of space is caused by a particle called graviton. But its existance is debatable. And we don't know how gravitons interact with higgs field so we don't know if graviton has mass or not. But in general mass of any fundamental particle like quarks or electron comes by their interaction with higgs field.

    In optics -refrative index Velocity of light (Wave nature of light) V=c/(mue) For mue>1 speed of light could be less than c But photon -(particle nature of light) has speed =c ????? Is it a question mark on standard model??

  • @hemangisavale4447

    @hemangisavale4447

    3 жыл бұрын

    Bro i will give you detailed explaination on this. In optic we calculation overall speed of light in medium. In reality any medium is made up of atoms. Whenever light collides with atoms they absorb and emit photons. But between particles of gas there is nothing. So in that space light travels at speed of light but if any particles comes in the way it gets absorbed and emitted. In water there are so many particles that light is absorbed billion of times per cubic centimeter so i appears to be slowed by particles. And when light enters medium at some angle it is reflected at angle theta and travel at certain angle but in "x" direction it travels distance C.cos(theta) as light covers C distance in 3d but less distance in x direction so it appears that light speed is changing but in reality light is travelling at constant speed between particles. I hope your doubt is clear and thanks for reading till end.
