As a female identifying as a WOMAN I find it extremely offensive not to be able too use that term (that is WOMAN) because a few people find that it is non inclusive. Who are these people that get to decide for me?! I feel that women are being discriminated against by taking away nouns (WOMAN) that the majority of us were fine without asking our advice on the matter which, to me, equates to stripping us of the equal rights (eg equal pay) that we’ve fought so hard for! Thank you Piers for standing up and being a voice for so many of us who don’t feel safe to voice our opinions publicly for fear of reprisals!

I grew up 1950's. I was a tomboy and my sister was "peticoat frilly" . I like cars, horses and she liked barbie. I only wore a skirt/dress and maryjane shoes for school or church and otherwise it was pants, sneakers and short hair. I never thought I was a boy. I just like some toys and things boys got to do. I got married, widowed, married again and worked in a print sign shop and enjoyed the work but I was the only female in the shop. My sister worked in an office. We women have a variety of tastes, styles, interests, talents, looks, personalities etc... BUT, we all are biological women. Let kids dress, play with toys, friends, experiment etc... and let them grow up with love and acceptance and when they are an adult they will figure our who they are on their own.

Don't these children have algebra and geometry classes to focus on? Munroe labeled Piers transphobic and canceled him in seconds, attacking his demeanor, just because Piers has different views. Who's not being 'inclusive' and 'respectful' now? This comes to show that Munroe would cancel everyone who doesn't agree with Munroe. That is unreasonable attitude. Munroe, herself, despite being described as an 'effeminate boy growing up' online, did not transition until the age of 24, and yet supports confusing children under the age of 16 and pushing political agendas that support puberty blockers and child mutilation. If we are an inclusive society, why can a boy not wear a skirt and go to school at least until he is 25 and his brain is fully developed to make this life-altering decision? Why does he have to take puberty blockers and chop his genitalia to prove his identity to anyone for that matter? Also, he really should be focusing on school! It won't be long before parents will start pulling kids out and home-schooling them whilst working remotely at this rate. I would most definitely do that to save my children from such toxicity. No amount of Mindvalley meditations can undo the damage such schools cause in childhood.

Well then, I am not having kids. It would be better to not bring them in a world like this. This is mentally challenging for a child. Its hard enough to grow up, school and puberty is difficult enough and now all of this very confusing nonsense is added.

It is most definitely not "bigoted" to think that gender fluidity is nonsense. It's common sense. Anyone who "thinks" (using the term loosely) that a person can change gender on a whim, is completely mental and needs help immediately.

Those who r born with male or female gender should be call he or she, in my mind,but it is not nonsense for people in general to feel gender identity because I believe that this happens when conceiving. It isn't a choice, and I do know a couple kids who have stragled from as early as ten years old to this point. Just like someone s born with one extra finger another one is born born with a chemical invalance.

This issue with inclusiveness is it's creating a sense of entitlement. Also, the point about not minding if one group bans the word woman, well that's weird. So you'd be okay with them not acknowledging someone's pronoun as a woman and calling your some other "gender", but it's not okay to call them a man? The great irony of this inclusiveness it's that now you have segregated groups everywhere. So who's preferences take priority? What I think this partly is is that I think there's an obsession with being progressive to where everything before is obsolete. As if somehow distancing oneself from the past titles disassociates you from past ignorance. Like somehow associating yourself with the past associates you with ignorance. Pronouns in of themselves are not inclusive of showing respect. It's like if someone says "Okay, Einstien". Context and inflection is also a factor as well. Obviously saying "You're a sh*thead" in a positive way doesn't make it good. What I am saying is titles themselves aren't being respectful but acknowledging someone else is not less of a human being than you and treating them fairly. Also, inclusiveness seems like the buzzword now. Being inclusive doesn't mean agreeing on everything. You can not agree with someone's pronoun but still want them to be a part of the group and you welcome their presence. Like my family and extended family don't agree on everything, but we still come together as a family and don't push each other away.

I hear what you are saying and it fits with my experience. I was recently lectured in a patronsing manner about how me refering to someone as 'she' indicated a lack of respect on my part. The individual concerned knows nothing about me, but presumed the right to gaslight me because they consider unrestrained use of the word 'she' to be offensive. All they have achieved is to make me nod my head when Piers Morgan speaks on the issue, which is deeply concerning as for the most part i previously regarded him as as total t"$t.

This was crazy to watch, but piers has a point.

I agree that children can get panicked to pick a different gender, maybe because of what they've seen on social media. But it's important to represent those that are actually legitimate. I think it's more the way that these things are told to kids that's the issue, as social media can paint things too colourful and attractive as if it's cool. I hope one day these debates will lead to better education around it, instead of being resistant to it in hopes it goes away.
