Multi-Scale Bass Guitar Build; Part 2/3

The 2nd of 3 videos showing the creation of my first multi-scale bass guitar. This jazz bass was started in 2016 and completed in 2018, an on and off again project for me when I had the time. Part 2 shows the neck carving, shaping, and fretting, recorded in my first at home basement shop. The 5 piece maple/walnut neck is topped with a lightly curled maple fretboard bound with jatoba. The neck was then glued to a body of ash topped with redwood burl, maple and jatoba veneers. Scale length is 35"-32.5"
All of the music heard in the video was created using this bass, with the exception of the drums.

Hey man! Love this build! You deserve way more sub's than this. Did you radius your fretboard or leave it flat?

Thanks Jeff, fretboard has a 16" radius. A little flat, wish I would have put a 10" or 12" on it.
