for kimchi fried rice you just need: onions oil kimchi spam korean pepper flakes dashida (korean msg lol) Instructions: Oil the pan, put diced onions and cook it until it's translucent-ish, put spam and cook it until you feel satisfied, put kimchi, pepper flakes, dashida, and then rice. I personally do not put in the kimchi liquid purposefully bc it will make the fried rice goopy.
I can relate what he said about the other kids in school making fun of your food. From the time of elementary school to High school I was teased about my home made lunch. It came to the point in junior high that I would not bring my lunch to school as much and just eat school lunch and in high school I skipped lunch all together and would go find some where on campus to eat in private or with one of my true friends. Kids/teens are mean as sh@#!

donna troy I'm sorry those kids were buttholes and bootybothered about what you ate for lunch. If I were at your school I would have wanted to try some.....I've always loved the different cultures of food. I've always been glad that there isn't just one universal style of food.

I'm going to sound like such a damn pervert for saying this. I really enjoy watching you eat. There's nothing like watching someone really get into the flavors, textures and emotions of a good meal. Hearing the crunch of the food, the use of utensils and your bare hands, you unapologetically talk with your mouth full. It's fucking great. You said it best, "food is love." Love this video and all your videos, I look forward to more!

White suburban lower-middle class and was lucky to grow up with a mom who cooked fresh stuff every night. Mostly Italian-leaning food. Pastas, rice, soups, stews, casseroles, and sometimes Mexican (California) with burritos, enchiladas, fish tacos, etc. Meat only when we could afford it. It's truly a privilege to have home-cooked meals in your formative years. My brother and I never took it for granted.
"i think that translates to bomb as fuck" i cHOKED also, i can really relate to a lot of what david has to say. food is such an integral part of culture. i hope ppl hold onto it. ;u;
Is this what it's like to go on a date with you? Cause it was awesome. I definitely watched it twice. Next mukbang video should be a soup!
"Love is in this kimchi fried rice" such a simple line but so deep..... Thanks David, this episode really spoke to me.
That part about mother's showing love through cooking really hit me in the feels.
Seeing you eating food and you enjoying it soo much just makes my day!
Your mom is exactly like my Korean grandmother and I can relate a lot too. When you were talking about food cooking and working a lot my grandmother popped straight into my head. Thanks bro...❤️
Hey just letting you know David, the reason why I enjoy watching you talk about food is because you have this excitement a lot of food lovers have, you're always descriptive, and you share so many memories that make us think about ours too! Plus you're hilarious~~~

This looks amazing! I would love to try that. For me, growing up in South East Texas/South West Louisiana(about 3 minutes over the Texas border), I had a lot of Mexican, Tex-Mex, and Cajun food. Homemade Gumbo, homemade fajitas, Crawfish boils, Fish fries, Tacos(Hard and soft, and a lot of home recipes that we don't have names for that my dad and mom learned from their parents. We had things like Italian pasta dishes often, but my dad was never a big fan of just noodle dishes, so it was usually just a couple times a month. When we did eat out it was usually at local seafood joints, local pizza joints, or Steak houses. But the biggest things for me, when I think of the foods I ate as a child and loved above anything where Texas style bbq, and crawfish. Both of these were regular staples of my childhood, but they always felt like special occasions. We'd put on a pot to boil the crawfish or we'd fire up the grill to do some bbq, and we'd invite family and friends over. Every time it was like a big party. We stopped doing it once money got tight, because doing enough crawfish or bbq for 20+ people is super expensive. It would be 200-300$ for 1 day, if not more. What used to be an thing every other weekend became maybe once a year? I really miss those Saturday get-togethers. I don't have many friends IRL, and I'm pretty anti-social(introverted, anxiety issues, etc.), but one day, I want to make those weekend bbq's a thing again. I want to get all my siblings and their kids and some friends together for no reason in particular, and just enjoy good food together, and enjoy each others company.

love seeing you introduce the korean favourites and also the talk about your family and background. food looks too bomb i really need some asap!!!
It's so refreshing whenever David mentions about his mom's cooking.... especially for us Koreans this is going to be something that we would always get sentimental about is the food your mother makes as we grow older... Currently my mom, similar to David's mother is working 10+ hours every single day. Since she is not usually home I have started to cook for myself more often and even for the rest of my family... For me trying to be a perfectionist and over achiever type when it comes to making a dish I would take hours just to complete a dish... but the funny thing is whenever my mom does have the chance to cook for me it would take her just a few minutes with simple home ingredients and it would taste 100 times better than what I have made... it's definetly the love and warmth she puts into every dish she makes which no one else can ever imitate... which I'm truly happy that I am able to share such similar feelings with David. It has got to be the Korean roots
I highkey get hyped when I see David post a Mukbang. 😂
DO MORE DAVID!!! LOVE YOU MAN! I REALLY RELATE TO YOUR STORIES ABOUT FOOD AND IT'S AN EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE JUST TO SIT AND KIND OF LISTEN TO YOUR STORIES. ITS LIKE WE'RE BONDING OVER FOOD!!:)HAHAHA

I don't know why, but I just never expected you to do mukbangs. So to see you trying it makes me happy, like watching two worlds combine since I do enjoy mukbangs. To see you happily enjoying yummy food, explaining the dish and all the little things, and mixing in your humor and personality is great. I love all your other content, but seeing you let go and just ramble on is entertaining as well. The variety is great, keep up the good work!
Make this a series man. One of the most entertaining shows on the channel because not only do people get to watch you but they also get to see food which everyone eats and enjoys.
Just finished eating, I'm full af, Now I'm hungry again and mad. Mad that I didn't eat Kimchi Fried Rice. :(
I think having guests is a really good idea. but not always though, cause it's nice to regroup and see what you by yourself are up to :)
David I love these videos. Started watching you way back because you were funny, real, and loved food. This just gets better
yessss! my highest compliment I can give to another person is, " I can enjoy a meal with you "..... The happiness food brings to me and those I share a meal with is apart of the experience. I may not be Korean, but I whole heartily enjoy all the dishes of Korean food. I use mature kimchi in mine.

if you did more i would be so happy. i love mukbangs and yes you should have guests.
Definitely ate a lot of kimchi jjigae (dduk, spam, tofu), dwenjang jjigae (tofu, mushrooms, jalapenos, zucchini), kimchi fried rice, tofu kimchi, so much Korean food growing up! I was also blessed to have a mom who cooked delicious food as a child! I just started browsing your KZread videos for inspiration to create my own and you are awesome!
The type of love that David has for food is the only thing u need in life!! u find someone loving u the same, u win at life!

I'm viet, and I grew up with pho, and many more viet dishes and my family would go eat together at the dinner table every night and I enjoy it so much, not even talking to each other but talk with each other through our facial expressions from eating the delicious food.
the culture-y foods are the best to make mukbangs to. i love that you talk about how it is important to you and how you can make it your own. i really enjoy these videos !!
As someone who loves food and loves cooking food these videos are great. Please do more in the near future!
I need this kinda food in my life Like I really need to learn how to cook, cause god damn that shit looks good I did grow up in a white town, so most of the food I ate at home or restaurants were just basic stuff like burgers, grilled cheese, and restaurants that are like traditional AND Mexican restaurants (like the restaurant would say they had both) that were never really that great but people raved about it. For some reason, I never cared about that food, it was never that great to me I was always drawn to "weird" looking foods because it actually looked really good and actually had a shit ton of stuff on it besides salt and pepper
this is your new thing david... i looooove this new series... so fun to see you eat and talk about food because you explain it so well it feels like i can understand how it tastes..even though i have never seen or eaten those things... also your expressions are priceless...
The thing I love and really enjoy about these videos from you is that I get to see what you grew up eating and the stories about that food!! Its really interesting and the love you have for the food you make is amazing!!

I can't tell if David's spoon is abnormally large or if the spoons I have are just small
The reason why I like the Mukbang videos is because I love the stories and topics he talks about while eating. Also, David reminds me of my brother. They are both very knowledgeable, funny, and when they talk they are very into the topic they are talking about. Which catches your attention.
David has helped me get through some hard times:) Keep doing what your doing David!
Can you please do videos of how you actually cook the food~
More mukbangs!!!! Maybe for the next episode, make different cultural dishes you've been taught? Starting with Filipino :P
I love to listen to your stories because even though we come from completely different backgrounds, I feel like we have the same values. For instance, you talk about how food in your family means love. In my family that is how it is to. My mom does not understand my brother and my relationship with food and why it is SO STRONG, but for us food means love and is about family and thankfulness. I always explain to her that a good meal means "I love you and that you appreciate and are thankful in that moment even though you may have had a bad day." And as a side note, you would love mexican style chicharones! I normally HATE pork and fatty meats, but I like Chicharones!
I think it's perfect David is doing mukbang cos he is entertaining to listen to plus the food looks really bomb like I wanna recreate it and not just watch it.

Really enjoyed this mukbang! Your kimchi fried rice looked delicious. When I was young, my grandma made the southern food. Chicken with homemade dumplings, greens and fried cornbread. Im so fucking hungry.
I'm from the south west I guess, my grandmother would make my favorite food anytime I visited and I always asked for tuna gravy on toast. I never liked SOS, so she came up with tuna gravy and I love it to this day and now so does my daughter.
I love the conversation and the creative cooking ideas i get from each mukbang. Love this so much. So many good feels. Keep being amazing
First you show people how you eat, then before you know it you're showing your feet on camera....
I grew up in WI, we don't really have any great regional dishes aside from cheese and beer. The meals I really remember are the stuff we got around holidays. Things like green bean casserole and homemade stuffing with dark turkey meat or some thick slices of ham.
Growing up my mom always make chicken and dressing with cranberry sauce and a side of glazed sweet potatoes! So good. Texas holidays are the best when it comes to food.
Something about David eating food is so satisfying cause he doesn't give two fucks of what he looks like! Perfect!
It's 3am and I'm so hungry watch you eat 😭😭😭 keep up the mukbang series xx
David! You should use these to tell us interesting life stories like the one about your first love it was sooo interesting I love watching people eat and talk lollll
I grew up with different types of food. My step-grandmother would cook everything homemade from chicken noodle soup to spinach quiche to grilled or baked chicken. We grew up in the gulf coast too so I'd also have frog legs, creole dishes and crawfish boils.
@DavidsoComedy I feel you sooooo much when you dance after that bite... mhmmmmm Love these!
