I doubt many people have seen this technique used during Muay Thai tournaments across the globe. But regularly seen in Sanda tournaments.

Ever since my coach taught me that i have been afraid or more like overly cautious to do front kicks in a fight

Basic Muay Fimeur technique. No one in their right mind to teach a technique that gets you fouled.

Gonna spar in a park tomorrow with my friend all day, definetely giving this a go! Edit: The move is so much fun and definetely a unique one, i used it multiple times in succession at my gym and no one saw it coming. Instantly one of my favourites.

make sure to use cups and mouth guards aswell as mouth guards and shin guards. STAY SAFE BRO

@@chunkystairs we did around 5 hours, even though it was low-mediun intensity we were both totally wrecked after and needed a rest day. Got around 10 months of muay thai under my belt now and im completely HOOKED!

I mean… it’s good for mma fights. Idk why I’d like to sweep my opponent to the floor if I can’t hit him… at least in mma u can sweep and hammer strike

If you can pluck a high speed foot out of the air in real combat instead of training then you are good enough to probably do whatever you want, any way you want.

@@honestlee9921 Sure ive even had my kick caught once. But never in a full speed fight only in sparring. Way easier to grab a single leg during a kick than to pluck a foot out of the air.

Looks like they cant reach you since you backpedal and go low

And if his hands were high he would be vulnerable to the teep that he’s demonstrating a counter for. Adjust to the situation at hand

If you do it very fast, you can do it. Also, hes out of the punch range. Go try it.

That is not Muay Thai Sweeps. That is SIlat Technique. Old Silat Technique. Muay Thai never has that kind of technique. He's copying that from SIlat kzread.info/dash/bejne/moKLxM9witzOfqw.html
