Happy new year! I'm finished (or very nearly) on a client's cache of ~40 tapes from late '91 thru late '95 (plus some Sci-Fi re-runs from '03) and I'm going to be uploading more of them now that I'm done. I'm beginning work on Season 8, and I have some other...interesting projects on the backburner, so be sure to keep an eye open.
Aired December 26, 1992 at 7pm. The first re-run the day of the premiere.
This is from the end of the second year of Comedy Central. In its prime. Watch for lots of nostalgic commercials! Including promos for CC's 1992 Year End programming and marathons.
Check back here roughly every week-ish (ha!) for more broadcast versions of MST3K episodes.

    Best host segments of any episode of the show that ever aired. I’ll put this up against Dark Timmy any day. Everything is artsy and impeccable, from Joel losing the bots’ approval on the invention exchange, to the 420 friendly William Conrad Fridge Alert, to Mike’s Hugh Beaumont reprise (shout out show 208), to the introduction of the many Tom Servos, to the moment where Crow and Tom “come out” to Joel as robots. Top shelf sketch work. The riff is great too. An underrated all timer.

    Wanna be depressed? We are further away from this broadcast (1992) than this broadcast is from the original release of Human Duplicators (1965). Hugs and kisses!! 😘😘😘

    Oh yeah and now Pull ups would be for they thems. Lol I love these late 80s ads in the middle of this. I am so impressed with the upscale here. I mean it's great what has been done with these old tapes.
