I have an odd project. 1996 f150, crownvic front susp, crownvic 4.6, 05 mustang tr3650, 2017 mustang irs. this ecm looks like it would bolt in to the f150 factory location. I have to search a bit to see if the pinouts and components on the crown vic are similar enough to the mustang to make this an attractive ecm, at first glance this looks perfect for what I am up to (future turbo teksid 4V, already have the sxe476 and mark8 motor here )

When do we unplug the MAF meter?

Built motor with a f1a, car has no fuel or spark…….any thoughts? It’s a friends car…..

Where is the timing mark? I don't see any references on the harmonic balancer or of the cover to align to. The video does not show what you are looking at.

Can a sct hand held be used with the ms3pro to be used as a digital dash? Or can I make a raspberry pi dash that runs off of tuner studio's? Reason I ask is that I have 1985 ltd with 99 gt pcm harness. I was going to use my handheld as gauges with the factory pcm but I may upgrade the pcm and need some sort of digital dash for gauges.

Does ms have a diy autotune feature?

Do the MSPNP ECU's use the "Check Engine" light and/or the OBD-II connector for diagnostics?

Check Engine Light yes-- it's configurable in the ECU settings. We don't use the ODB2 port for anything though.

I'm doing a tube front clip on my 04 gt and want to eliminate any extra electronics from the front. Would this be a good way to allow my engine to run on the bare essentials?

Any standalone will be able to do that, this will likely be the easiest setup to do, being plug and play. You can probably rip your airbags and crash sensors out, not much else worth removing other than fog lights.

What about the key do i need to reprogram ? And Vin number

would be nice to have a foxbody ms3 pnp system available from you... guess pimpxs gets all the business

would this disable Pats or would i have to reprogram the keys for the new ecu?

Pats is in the steering column, seperate module, the key that worked for the car before you unplugged the ECU should still work after.

I'm aware that the 94-95 mustangs are EECIV, but it's this set-up procedure the same? Is there a completely different MS3PNP for the 94-95? Thanks, cool videos💪

@@PANTYEATR1 yeah, if there's a PNP setup for 94-95 then it should be basically the same, if not you'll have to build a custom harness.
