A Morris tune, this version from the village of Ascott-Under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire, a side that like many didn’t survive the First Word War. The tune was also entered on p. 39 of the 1850 music manuscript collection of shoemaker and fiddler William Winters (West Bagborough, Somerset) Versions of the tune are also used in the Fieldtown (Leafield, Oxfordshire) tradition.
