Have you watched the mockumentary The Magician from 2005 I watched that before watching the show...Made it even better.
Phenomenal series! Why did it not go mainstream?

Lack of promotion I guess, never heard of it and unfortunately until I saw a short on KZread. no streaming service seems to have it here in Europe
The shotgun Blast straight to the head, captured this shows ruthlessness perfectly.

He got a Sterling at the end ? Cool as hell.
The Best Show I’ve watched in years
Need more seasons!
Great series on FX.
Best Gangster Show since the Sopranos
When I visited Australia back in 2021, I don't remember seeing all this at any farmhouses I went by. This Mr. In-Between seems to have major shoot outs at his farmhouse all the time. Good thing the tour operator knew where they were going and didn't stop off at his place.
Wow. So this is what shows can be like. Take a bow all involved.
This show is a fuckin Gem, the finale for this season was phenomenal. Open ended, sinister, gotta love Ray

Man I need to watch this! My admittedly arrogant U.S. self always turned my nose up to it because it was Aussie (which I admit was stupid) but man this looks good!

It's probably because you didn't think that there would be the sort of organized crime in Australia that would be able to form the basis for a show that hit as hard as Justified, The Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire. "Oh, what, Australian criminals? Like surfer gangs? Kangaroo Godfathers? Did they drink the last Fosters and refuse to throw another shrimp on the barbie?"

Interesting - Ray isn't carrying, and the bad guy waited until he got to the house to load his shotgun.. Great show, thanks!

This was a difficult show to watch. one moment it was a heart tearing family drama and the next it was an ultra-violent crime drama. I enjoyed it for the contrast. Also the off the wall situations it put you in that seemingly came out of nowhere.

I wasn't wild about Bruce. Mainly because the guy who played him did too good a job. A friend of mine died of ALS and the guy who played Bruce nailed it. Every time Bruce was on it made me remember my friend and how he went down and how hard it was to watch.
Amazing show!
Honestly since I knew Ray was on the job, I was not at all surprised that the one guy came running out of that house on fire. It was more like, " of course he's on fire "
1:25 I gotta give the guy props, he took getting a load of buckshot to the head like a champ.

In the end, they’re all paying up to the Emu’s.
i was devastated when i watched the last episode of this amazing show. This is the type of show that you keep secret and never share it with anyone.
This was the first ever clip I saw of this show, and man, I didn’t know the fellow Aussies could make a great action comedy drama show like this one! Scott Ryan and Nash Edgerton did a great job with this show!
That was very realistic gunplay actually. Especially the shotgun splatter on the guy with the ruger mini-14. They rarely show exit holes on shotguns. But the contrast on the entry point of the buckshot was on point. Randomly got recommended this show. Gonna binge it later. Smooth shit Aussies.

would buckshot penetrate the whole head at that distance?
@UncleBaconMan
2 жыл бұрын
@@4lfie- ten to twenty? Yes. Buckshot would, not birdshot though. It could still kill but the exit hole wouldn't be that severe or not there at all especially if its contacting the skull
Lots of good attention to this show. Just wish they wouldn't have every projectile always spark off everything. Steel buck will definitely spark on steel but lead and copper projectiles just 'splash'
