4:43-4:46 The way the camera drops down with the merc as he jumps down the hole in the roof has got to be one of the DOPEST camera transitions I've ever seen. I love this show. Yeah man. He really did something crazy with this first season that I knew would be hard to follow in the second. Especially after he stepped back from directing. I still really like the second season but it doesn't come anywhere close to the first. Not super excited about the 3rd if he's not going to be running it like he did the first season. The choreography, the camera work, the sheer chaos of everything but still a coherent and focused action sequence. He's in a class by himself truly.

An information about this series: One of its director is Gareth Evans, who is most known for his work directing Merantau (2009) and The Raid series. The shaky cam, camera movement and chaos effect here, as well as the almost frantic movement of characters is trademark of Gareth’s directing ability (you can see the similarities if you look up The Raid’s gunfight sequences).

I knew this scene seemed familiar. Even the hand spinning the actors do while they run, that's what they do in The Raid when they get pushed back in a combat scene (for example) for momentum or something like that. I love it. They could have been dressed in clown suits and I still would have loved it.
I can't explain why, but at the beginning when the girl got shot down and only the stuffing of her coat visibly come out is for some reason the most disturbing death to me.
This scene was amazing!
Although Evans isn’t returning for season 2, I hope they can still capture his magic. People really out here in the comments critiquing it like it’s supposed to be a biographical film or something lmao. I think people don’t quite understand the concept of a directing style. This is exactly what fans of Gareth Evans want to see

@@BOOMDIGGER Your clapback doesn't work because it doesn't make sense nor does it matter if there are only 10 fans. Because at the end of the day, we got exactly what we wanted out of this season.

looks like a comedy) The British with firearms are very funny, they also made such serious faces ... I almost laughed

Sick scene. Don't listen to the haters.
This was bad azzzz 😮💨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Well this was way more amusing than I expected a “”shootout”” scene to be.
The guy 22 seconds is doing OK he’s behind the engine block and the tired part of the transmission. Do you ever get a new gun fight remember this the doors don’t provide you any protection.

Or they just drop to prone and blast you from under the car and through the tires like they did to those two armored bank robbers in L.A.
The door wouldn’t be able do shi 😭😂
