The cups make the most sense where you have them. It's easier to take one cup to the fridge than to carry all the cups to the cabinet away from the dishwasher. And the artwork looks totally fine. You did a good job!

You probably hit a stud. Which is better. It won’t tear the sheet rock. If it doesn’t look level, it could be that your pillows on the couch aren’t square with the bottom of your frame. Also, the picture is stunning. Love it.

Same (Sort of). I know how to hang a frame, but I've never done it ever. I feel like you should nail it at 45 deg with the pointy end to the floor.

Don’t let the picture discourage you. Sometimes doing it with someone the first time makes it easier to learn/remember. And everyone does things differently so you might’ve watched a video from someone doing it a more difficult way than it needs to be. 😃

You should try using drywall anchors for your screws to prevent the nails from being dragged down by the weight. I did it for the first time a few months ago and I promise it's not that scary! Though idk how renter friendly that would be lol

I love your new apartment! I wish I could find one there lol. I put my glasses and plates on the bottom shelf half and half. You could always get a small step for the kitchen like I have. It definitely helps.Also there is a small device on Amazon that helps with hanging pictures.
