Best of luck in your new home! For safety reasons, If you are on the bottom floor, I would highly suggest putting a pole/broom handle in the sliding glass door track. I always did that when I lived in a bottom floor apartment.

Agree: no matter, I’m blocking a sliding glass door. We had one made of a piece of inter locking flooring in a cabin this summer. Snap right on over the track: no way to Jimmie it loose: popped right off when I wanted it off.

You are so right Carrie..its hard out there right now. I make decent $, but still struggle and even had to cancel a move to FL over it. My movers also took forever as they were paid by hour. Last time it was per job and like 1/2 the time. Such scammers!

Just a heads up MOVERS ALWAYS TAKE FOREVER. We had the smallest apt ever and moved 5 mins away. They took their sweet time, about 5 hours I believe. It was just me and my husband and we had nothing. Just a couple heavy things and our apt was on the second floor. 20 years ago this was $600..... it was ridiculous. They quoted less, hut charge by the hour. Also, stop having excuses for yourself. You're a single woman and need safety. We understand. I loved the fact that you said "I need a drink because I'm stressed and I don't care who comments." That's perfect.

I strongly suggest you check very carefully for mold, etc. before signing anything. To avoid what happened in your present residence. Also, those poor stray cats needs a home, to be taken to a shelter.

Next time you move go to home depot and get storage bins that’s what I’m doing if I ever move out of state…

Moving is tough! I hope you had better luck w your kitties than I did. I just moved from TN to NC and when I was about 15 mins away from the new place, my Bombay decided it was a FANTASTIC time to vomit and have diarrhea in his kennel 💩 🤮 honestly I think I was more scarred from the experience than him 😵

Only today youtube showed me you're back. Finally you are not with your ex boyfriend. It is not my business, and I never commented here about it. But I remember when you moved with him, there was a vlog you waited for him the hole day, cooked for him and when he arrived he didn't give you any attention and went playing video game.
