I’ve been an FA for two months and I’ve already had someone come into my room! It was a maintenance person but they barely knocked, waited two seconds and tried to come in. Thankfully I had my top bar lock on. I shouted when they came in. Ugh! Sometimes I think the hotel forgets to mark the crew rooms as booked because I’ve heard stories from my coworkers as well. Time to get another lock.

Watching your video reminds me kinda how I was into my mani-pedi’s and hair extensions in Texas and now that I have moved to Hawai’i permanently, boogie boarding and snorkeling became more important and I could care less about my hair and nails haha. I am just obsessed on when I will see my next monk seal. Cant have extensions here anyway if you are constantly in ocean, it would totally ruin them. Total lifestyle change here. Aloha! Oh and clothing. Bikinis and sarongs and slippahs. All I want and need. :)

Sorry if this is personal question but how much do hostesses actually make and how many times do you fly in a year like for 6 months

I fly SDF - LGA and that's about a 1 1/2 hour flight. That's not bad because you aren't in the air very long. The SDF - LAX run is about 4 hours and that can get tiring towards the end. I wonder what flight attendants do to maintain endurance over really long flights. I think that LAX - SDY flight would make a lot of people go stir crazy. I know that would be tough on me.
