Great video, buddy. Very well shot and very dynamic. And oh my god, finally someone has an adequate assessment of the country! I totally agree with you on everything. Especially about third world countries. I find it so funny when people from the USA or the Netherlands talk about some small things, like these are the disadvantages. And I laugh, because no matter how Germany is, in my country I have a salary of 300 euros, and the apartment costs 500 euros.

Anyways just gotta try to fix things holding me back from moving, got some friends who will help me if I move to Germany or Switzerland so it’s nice of them. All I know is it’s gonna be better than USA overall. Especially quality of food not only life, if things work out well.

If you feel too scared to jump, then you should learn more about the jump. Understand it better and maybe do smaller jumps to build up confidence ;) then when you feel that you can do it. You do it 💪🏻 Just some thoughts, best of luck, and if you need help, there is a group ok IG where you can ask questions.

I am in a similar position and it can feel scary. Perhaps take some trips over there and get a good feeling for it and look up some online ex pat groups for the cities you're interested in. Meeting other foreigners is a good way to make friends since we are all in the same boat and that often creates an immediate connection. I think establishing new friends and community is the most important thing when arriving anywhere new and it's possible to do that before you have even left home with the internet. Have you got a city in mind? Best of luck :)

I want to move to Germany sooo bad! But only for a year or a few. Because I want to learn to speak fluent German and me and my wife are still young. And we want to live a little. Experience new stuff in life. To bad that there’s only 4 Swedish churches in Germany we can go to so it’s either Hamburg or Berlin we want to move to.
Is there a problem with renting an apartment even if you live in a small city or a village neighbouring the big city?
@fernandotabora
7 ай бұрын
Not really. If you go to www.immobilienscout24.de/ and you check prices outside of Munich for example you would get a house for what you pay here for 2 rooms lol. I think is mainly in big cities like Berlin or Munich where the demand is high, but in any big city is like this. It's not just in Germany. Equally do some more research because in the end this is just some of my knowledge, so always dig deeper ;) Thank you for your comment!
You are right, Bavaria is beautiful. I have lived for periods of time further North in Münster to be with my girlfriend and we have travelled down to hike in Bavaria on many occasions. Now I have to make a decision whether or not to move from the UK to Germany permanently and I have so much anxiety about integrating my life. I have lived in many places around the world but always temporarily, 6 months to a year, for work but never permanently. If my gf and I are to stay together then I have to do it. It's overwhelming! Thanks for the pointers... And yes, Deutche bahn is the worst for connections, cancelations and running late. With all that Germany runs very efficiently, the train system is so bad.

I’m moving back but decided to move to a larger city like Cologne verses Bavaria. The larger cities are more diverse with people from Africa and the Middle East verses the smaller towns. I’m choosing to live outside of the cities because rent is cheaper for larger places and it’s only 15/20 minutes away. In Germany they don’t drive as much as we do daily, plus I can live “far” away from the city with no car and be close to train or bus that runs often.

Im from Munich. When I was 38 I had a medical emergency and went to two doctors. Both ignored my symptoms and didn’t listen to me because I’m a woman. I had to go to a private female doctor and pay everything myself to get a diagnosis. It only took her 10 minutes to diagnose me. The treatment cost me another §2000€. So yes Germany is amazing if you’re a rich white heterosexual men. If you’re a women it willl suuuuuuck.
Yeah Germans are reserved but Lord when we do connect we like to commit almost more than for other Relationships. Friendships are super important!!!! :)
